About me Forum Tutorials Media Comments Guestbook Movie Edit Pro on 6/16/2020 Motion blur/Radial blur plugin? I have the complete Pixelan package. I have rarely used BlurBender Pro, but Ray is right, it can be used for a lot. Most everything can be keyframed, you have a wealth of templates to start with, and everything can be modified as you can see in the detailed tools screen. I suggest that you download, install it and try it out. It will put an X across the screen, but you can see everything that it does. Thanks for the tip! I've downloaded the demo and it looks really good, though I was somewhat confused by the fact that you can't use Magix native keyframing system? Instead it seems you have to do all keyframing inside the plugin and then render the effect, feels somewhat clunky but it works. There's a ton of awesome blur fx in there! Movie Edit Pro on 6/16/2020 Motion blur/Radial blur plugin? Thanks for the input! As stated above, Hitfilm seems to have been the best option but is no longer available... Pixelan Blurblender Pro looks promising, though $39 seems kind of expensive when I'm only after the radial blur. Anyone tried it? Movie Edit Pro on 2/15/2020 Movie Edit Pro premium freezing, sound continues @Coldsnap Can you also tell us the exact format of the video files you are using? The mention of 1440 30fps suggests they may be AVCHD. This is a format which can cause problems for video editing programs because they are "compressed" and must be decompressed "on the fly" in order to play smoothly. Have you tried the option of Creating proxy (reduced resolution) files? These are used to smooth the playback in the editor but the full version of the file is used to create the export. If you're not sure of the file format, the free MediaInfo will give you this information. Then you can post the results of the Text view here. HTH Jeff Thanks for the suggestions! I actually did try Creating Proxy files, but I still get random crashes. Here is the output from MediaInfo: VideoID : 1Format : AVCFormat/Info : Advanced Video CodecFormat profile : High@L5Format settings : CABAC / 2 Ref FramesFormat settings, CABAC : YesFormat settings, Reference frames : 2 framesFormat settings, GOP : M=1, N=15Codec ID : avc1Codec ID/Info : Advanced Video CodingDuration : 9 min 21 sBit rate mode : VariableBit rate : 33.0 Mb/sWidth : 1 920 pixelsHeight : 1 440 pixelsDisplay aspect ratio : 4:3Frame rate mode : ConstantFrame rate : 29.970 (30000/1001) FPSColor space : YUVChroma subsampling : 4:2:0Bit depth : 8 bitsScan type : ProgressiveBits/(Pixel*Frame) : 0.398Stream size : 2.16 GiB (99%)Title : GoPro AVC Language : EnglishEncoded date : UTC 2020-02-12 21:58:22Tagged date : UTC 2020-02-12 21:58:22Color range : FullColor primaries : BT.709Transfer characteristics : BT.709Matrix coefficients : BT.709Codec configuration box : avcC AudioID : 2Format : AAC LCFormat/Info : Advanced Audio Codec Low ComplexityCodec ID : mp4a-40-2Duration : 9 min 21 sBit rate mode : ConstantBit rate : 192 kb/sNominal bit rate : 48.0 kb/sChannel(s) : 2 channelsChannel layout : L RSampling rate : 48.0 kHzFrame rate : 46.875 FPS (1024 SPF)Compression mode : LossyStream size : 12.7 MiB (1%)Title : GoPro AAC Language : EnglishEncoded date : UTC 2020-02-12 21:58:22Tagged date : UTC 2020-02-12 21:58:22 Other #1ID : 3Type : Time codeFormat : QuickTime TCDuration : 9 min 21 sBit rate mode : ConstantFrame rate : 29.970 (30000/1001) FPSTime code of first frame : 22:42:28:09Time code, striped : YesTitle : GoPro TCD Language : EnglishEncoded date : UTC 2020-02-12 21:58:22Tagged date : UTC 2020-02-12 21:58:22 Other #2Type : metaDuration : 9 min 21 sBit rate mode : Variable Other #3Type : metaBit rate mode : Variablemdhd_Duration : 561594 Movie Edit Pro on 2/14/2020 Movie Edit Pro premium freezing, sound continues Here is my system spec:AMD Ryzen7 2700X (no overclocking)32 GB ramNvidia GTX 1080 (no OC, most recent Studio Driver)ROG Strix X470F using onboard sound card (Realtek)Samsung EVO SSD drivesWindows 10 v1809.Using Movie Edit Pro Premium v19.0.2.58, video footage is 1440p 30 fps.I have been experiencing random crashes before, but not this frequently. 1
