I have also noticed that the playback cursor (orange marker) does not "snap" into place when I get it near the edge of an object. Is that also a setting in Movie Edit Pro that you can set and unset? (I want it to snap) Thanks!

Thank you both. Your screenshots are almost exactly the same as Movie Studio Platinum 18. Unfortunately, even though that checkbox is checked, it did not do what I wanted it to do. When I click on an object, it moves the cursor to the STARTING EDGE of the object, rather than where I clicked. That's pretty useless :) Thanks!

Platinum18: How to export mp4?
thank you this helps. Is there a way to "star" some as my favorites so I don't have to pick from the dropdown each time?
