Ralftaro thank you for your reply to my question regarding getting vidoe from the camera to the pc. It appears that the problem may be to do with the compatability of my Firewire card. So I have ordered a firewire card that is Vista compatable which the manufactures assure me it would be suitable for downloading video from both of my video camera's. Thank you for your asisstance. Robert Gardner

My apology, I didn't read well enough to realize you were referring to Xtreme photodesign and not photostory. I downloaded photodesign and realized what you had said was available in that program to enventually download to the photostory 6 slideshow design. Thank YOU very much! Bill

Thanks very much for your reply to my question. I assumed we were only considering Magix Xtreme photostory 6 and didn't include that with my question. I have not found out how to create the blank slide in that particular program. I have done it many times in Power Point and other programs. I was looking specifically for doing it in photostory. I would be forever grateful if you can guide me in that endeavor. Thanks Bill

Hi ralftaro, Thank you for your help concerning flash-video-file. It's very strange, but I solved the problem by changing the extension from .FLV (as the file was is made by the magix-program) into .flv - no more problem to open the file with RIVA. Bye bye and thanks again!
