Getting started in Music Maker 2015 Premium - a few tips
So after tons of playing with this, it appears that you have to go through about 8 steps to find the audio settings, then you can only lister to Music Maker OR any other program on your pc?? attached is a screenshot. it only gives me two options: enable 1. high definition audio OR 2. ws audio high def audio is music maker. when that's on, no other audio on my pc is enabled. ws audio is my pc. when that's on, my pc can be heard, but not music maker. a previous version of music maker allowed both, without checking any settings. is this the best we can do - you have to go through 8 steps, and you can't have both play/enabled??

sound from magix music maker 16 - no sounds from the rest of my apps/pc
problem: I have windows 7 on my pc. I bought Magix music maker 2016, download version. I get sound from music maker when I use it. Somehow it has disabled the sound from any other app on my pc - I get no sound with anything. I've followed various instruction from this forum. It looks like I need to work through file/settings/program settings/audio midi/ASIO driver. there, it brings up 4 options: none - magix low latency - ASIO4all v2- magix low latency 2016 none of these options restore audio for the rest of my pc apps. also my pc can't play audio EVEN WHEN MAGIX MUSIC MAKER IS CLOSED. it's totally ridiculous to buy a new product and have to spend hours trying to figure out something as basic as getting the sound to be compatible. any help would be appreciated. otherwise, I need a refund. t

It's a totally different question. the previous question was why the audio DIDNT work on magix music maker DEMO, while other sounds DID play on the pc. this question is why DOES sound work on music maker NOT the demo, and NO sound from the other pc programs. audio not working, can't find options setting to change
no, totally useless. see my original question. 1. there is no sound 2. the video (which is ridiculously small and hard to see) says to open up "file" then "settings" 3. this is the demo version. when you open "file" there is no option for "settings" how is it that 1. the program itself isn't easy enough that there's sound when you use it and/or 2. you can't answer my question on how to get sound? I already bought the full version of Magix Music Maker which became obsolete when I upgraded windows. I'm not happy about that. I was told I would have to buy Magix and pay for it a second time. That's why I downloaded the demo, to make sure it works. now I can't even get any sound?? How do I know it'll work if I pay for it again? this is extremely poor design and support. Feel free to show me how to get sound as I originally requested. t
