Well, this song is a co-lab I did with a very talented musician named Geoff Nostrant aka Silvercord (here is his Myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/silvercordproject).
He had done an instrumental called "Haegum song" which I came up with a melody for and wrote the lyrics to (and did the singing, lol).
I really enjoyed this working proces and I hope you like the outcome;-)
Peace,
Aoife

Nice Vocals, in spite of the fact that the melody does not vary. I suppose, that´s the intention of the song.

Nice beautiful voice.

The track actually consists only of one basic melody.
I miss the bridge and the structure ,..... I`m missing the igniting moment.

TommyG and M.R.Michel:

I totally get what you mean and I will try and explain: Silvercord, who made this as an instrumental track, is into ethereal//space rock/dream pop/ambient music that don´t necessarily have the same structure as ordinary/normal songs like verses, chorus and a brigde. Since this track was already finished it was my job to come up with a melody and lyrics to the existing track.

Sorry,... however I would not like to know,... where the track is ago.

That is no matter for me.
Your work is more important,..... however I finds the song personally too minimally.

very nice.i really enjoyed this song.i think this would be a good track to wrap up an album,or at least a certain part of an album.i also think that sometimes when people hear a song like this that they assume its going to be played alone rather than as a whole with other peices which then changes the way you hear it.am i making sense?very good music!

Sometimes a song don't need a verse-bridge-refrain structure. The whole Ambient genre has deliberated itself from those chains. Fantastic music!

Bonsoir ....

What I hear is in my ears and brains processed as "very good". (5*)

P.S. A song does not need always a refrain but in my imagination I can hear one and it would not hurt the track.

Nice Intro, I like it.

The usage of these "Uhuuhuuuu" vocals are confusing to me - even though I listend to it for the fourth time now. ;).

It's not really wrong, but the fact that it starts within the offbeat at 0:07, and the second and third "Uhuuuhuuu" is straight on the beat, beginning with a piano note...this is confusing to the audience.
Hmm....listening to it the sixth time I even have the feeling that your first "Uhuuhuuu" (the one in the offbeat) even isn't really in the offbeat - therefor it starts too late.

The vocals need some EQ finetuning....they sound a bit weak and get surpressed by the instrumental.

But very nice tune, indeed.

Well, at 2:05 it's getting a bit boring...there's no very catchy part, no changes, no refrain....this repeating "Trusting in the light" starts to be a little bit overused.

Nice one anyway. I'll rate it as a "good" one. ;)

Wonderful atmosphere, very fashion, sound well done. Ciao da sandro

Sandro Glavina is an italian composer, named L'Uomo e L'Ombra. The choice of the name derives from the title of the album "L'uomo e l'ombra" of the band "Abstract Music Nuova Esistenza", an experimental group founded by Sandro Glavina together with his friends in the mid-70s.

In the period 2009-2022, L'Uomo e L'Ombra has done 84 albums. The compositions of Sandro Glavina are partly influenced by progressive rock. Sandro has developed a personal style with many experimentations and actualizations. He offers music beyond borders by intertwining different styles in crossover with each other. Prog, psychedelia, classical, post-rock, jazz, pop are some of the influences that dissolve in ambient atmospheres, citations of contemporary music and minimalist nuances. Sandro Glavina aka L'Uomo e L'Ombra plays the music using VSTI synthesizers, keyboards and adds some loops. Sandro isn't a professional musician, composes and plays music just for fun, but his works reach a good outcome, pleasant to listen. L'UOMO E L'OMBRA
