  @paschmitt All symptoms are caused by MP3. Make sure that the proxy compressed file format option is enabled in the program preferences or convert all MP3 audio files to WAV before you edit them. MP3 is only supposed to be used for a final delivery

  Check the basics, like the Sonnox plug-in files <.vst3> are in the VST 3 folder"C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" and confirm the VST search path is correct. You might try refreshing the VST-3 plugs. "Options> Preferences> VST Effects"
