RE: Markers dropped during record do not synch
What format file type are on the timeline? If there are of the lossy type (MP3, AAC, ect), enable "Always proxy compressed formats" in "Options> Preferences> General" Otherwise, try experimenting with a different record buffer setting.

RE: Can SF 7 be uninstalled and reinstalled?
rraud, thanks for getting back. I bought SF-5 in 2004. It came with an installation disc that asked for the SN, which was included. I *think* I registered that online as well with no problem. Not sure anymore. Some time later, I contacted Sony

RE: Activate Mpeg 4 Codec in Movie Studio 2025 Platinum
@AAProds I cannot import or export any MP4 file anymore in Magix Movie Studio 2025. For what it is worth, thought, here's a copy of the last file I tried to import. FYI--I edit 60 plus oral recordings from my students each week. I had no problem

RE: slow down on exported music
The bit rate should have no affect on the speed/pitch. It can affect the overall quality though. Lossy files with an very low bit rate will often have a flanged garbled type soundAn MP3 encoded at a sample rate of 44.1kHz should playback the same,

RE: importing a stereo mp3 file into both tracks seprately
@Gerald-Shantz Hi Thanks for the clarification. . . . . copied the files from 7" reels to cassette . . . benefit to "importing" the MP3 files into SFACL4 as a wave . . . . Good question given the dubious quality of cassette recordings. I would

RE: Odd Autosave Behavious with MS 2025 version 239
Even more confusion now. At 12:24 I started a new test project - 1 short video file 768x576 with MP3 audio - and saved it as 1_Again. Autosave kicked in as expected BUT the first backup seemed to have happened BEFORE I saved the Project.

Magix Capture - Standalone program
When VPX16 was released, it came with an enhanced version of Magix Capture which could be run outside of the editing program. Previously you could only access the capture utility within the program. I decided to test this new standalone program and

RE: The output formats are messed up in Movie Studio 2024
I "still" don't understand. Why are you exporting stills from VDub? If you export them (or otherwsie process them in a 3rd party program) at the display frame size of your Magix movie setting, you will not have a problem. For example, if your movie

RE: importing a stereo mp3 file into both tracks seprately
@johneb and @johnec Wow! I can see how ignorant I was. But that was all that I knew. As for MP3 vs wave, I knew that wave took approx. 10 times more file space, and I knew that there are losses for that kind of compression, but since none of this is

RE: The output formats are messed up in Movie Studio 2024
@clement5 The trick to export as I previously said is to set the aspect to 3:2. Then to get correct import change the movie aspect to 3:2 (file/settings/movie). But then after importing set the imported file to aspect 3:2 (right click on the object

@jamesglynn @johnebaker Hi, I just got around to trying out SFACL4 with an MP4 video clip. Export to Original format worked fine. Export to MPEG4 worked properly but it took a while. There is a huge difference in file size: 82,467KB for MP4 (as per

What are you using for this? The built-in DeNoiser or a third party VST like iZotope Voice De-noise. There are others. John CB Truthfully, I didn't know exactly what iZotope Voice Denoise was, so stayed with what I was familiar with. Having no

They still haven't fixed the AVI export in the 2025 version. When the frame rate 23.976 (24000/1001) standard NTSC, the AVI output is 23976/1000 and the time is shortened so that the audio and video get out of sync. It is possible to use VirtualDub

RE: The output formats are messed up in Movie Studio 2024
I will want to have a 4:3 export, but the pixel aspect ratio is 3:2, while the target aspect is 4:3 these are independent quantities. So when a DVD is created the pixel aspect is 3:2 names 720:480, but the display aspect metadata is 4:3, so the
