Movie look suggestion: VHS
I would like to suggest a new Movie Look template for MAGIX. Currently, there are several Movie Looks available, such as the 16mm film look. It would be great to also have a VHS-style Movie Look added to the collection. This kind of effect is quite

RE: Cleaning a really poor quality video
@me_again Hi Andy . . . . Panasonic and it was a "big b***er" 🙂 that I assume didn't record in 320x240 so obviously it was reduced just for the demo/commentary purposes . . . . 320x 240 was the native resolution of the early Panasonic VHS or VHS-C,

RE: Lines in digitized VHS
@MovieEditorr HI The better quality from the second VCR, suggests the other one has either worn heads, and/or misalignment as I posted in my comment which has disappeared (!!). . . . . Maybe next model of MAGIX Video Saver should include signal

RE: Lines in digitized VHS
Do you have a CRT TV? Full HD LCD TV with Scart. It also could be that the signal on the tape weakend over the years and the TV boost it while the grabber might not boost the signal. The problem also applies to other VHS tapes.

RE: Movie look suggestion: VHS
@MovieEditorr Hi In addition to @Alwyn's comment, which I agree with , there are many different sources of video overlays/green screen effects which simulate the VHS artefacts and noise available from sites such as PixaBay, Pexels and many others,

RE: Lines in digitized VHS
@MovieEditorr Did you deinterlace the recorded footage? Analog video images are saved in lines and only contain half of the full video frame. Each frame switches back and forth between even- and odd numbered lines. So, if you didn't deinterlace the

RE: DVDs cut don't play
@rickduley Hi Rick . . . . Blu-Ray. I thought it had gone the way of VHS . . . . Not yet, it is still quite popular, however there are fewer BD Burner and disc manufacturers. DVD's are nearly on the extinction list, the low resolution of 720 x 576
