I tried enhancing some old VHS recordings before, and AI tools can definitely help sharpen details and reduce noise, even if they can’t fully restore the original miniDV quality. It’s worth testing on a short clip first before processing everything.

Do you have a CRT TV? Full HD LCD TV with Scart. It also could be that the signal on the tape weakend over the years and the TV boost it while the grabber might not boost the signal. The problem also applies to other VHS tapes.

@Atte-Tahvanainen If you can select the grabber as an input device Windows definitely installed the drivers, otherwise it wouldn't be available. Do you know which video system your VHS player uses? As far as I know, the grabber supports NTSC and PAL

I have tested to play many different videos in the player, same problem. Scart is in out mode, and all 3 color cables are firmly connected. This is what i see then in the software, and there is constant beep sound also at the same time when the vhs

My vhs player is supporting pal as far as i know, it is philips 14tvcr240/13. I was thinking the driver problem because my device manager says that the video grabber producer is unknown and in the box, "there isnt anydrivers downloaded to this
