RE: Any decent support for Insta360 videos yet?
@Reyfox I guess you are referring to 360 edited final video? The software can export to various other formats. Yes that is correct. I am referring to the immersive 360 video file that can be created. This type of file is limited to H264. Just taking

@AAProds Greetings Al, Ever since the Nvidia 590 series driver debacle just before Christmas 2025 I've had problems with my 4060 - possible slightly different to your because I'm using MS2025 which hasn't had the updates. I rolled the driver back to

RE: Reasonably affordable graphics card for Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus
@CubeAce I used no Apple equipment during this videoing session. I only use my iPhone audio as back up., a last resort as I know Apple files can have issues, like frame rate issues that prevent MEP from displaying the entire video in the timeline.

@AAProds, @nicolesharp100 Hi Al . . . . VDL 2026 is saying the video is 25fps . . . . VPX does the same, no matter what frame rate the jpeg encoded actual rate is, tested on other JPEG encoded movie files I have. . . . at 60fps and 48khz . . . I

Cleaning a really poor quality video
Greetings, I've been asked to try and clean a video on a CD given to me by my brother. It's of his friend Ron who made a living recreating the ancient Worcestershire woodland practices. AVI (MJPEG) - progressive - 320x240 - Note the horizontal 1

@Dave_W Don't edit MP3 files. Always convert them to WAV first or enable in the Sound Forge program preferences to proxy compressed file formats. MP3 is used as an end consumer format for playback. My guess is, that editing MP3 files in modern

Blu-ray media created playback issue. Image bounces/jitters
I made my first Blu-Ray disc with Video Deluxe 2025 Plus. It was an easy one from 3 mp4 videos with a resolution of 1920x1080p @ 25fps and I created a simple menu to browse through the three titles in the disc. I used H.264 codification and adapted

@AAProds, @nicolesharp100 Hi Al . . . . .  H264 below 24fps; I don't know if VPX does . . . . . It does not . The minimum framerate of 24 fps is a legacy 'cinema' look, and, although the h.264 encoding can go as low as 5 fps, however anything below

@calamar Hi The change (reduction) of frame rate is the most likely cause of the jitters. Try the following: Change the project settings to 1920 x 1080 50fps, the 50 fps helps with conversion of progressive video to Interlaced. In the Burn dialogue

@nicolesharp100 Nicole, VP9 is a propriety codec. Magix will not open VP9s, I assume because it is a paid program. Free programs can open all of those "free" codecs (although I note that, even with the VP9 decoder from the MS store installed,

@Betovalle 1- incorrect keyframe timeline time marker Unless I have a misunderstanding of the issue; the "keyframe time" is the time reference to the original clip rather than the timeline itself. For example, if my original clip is 20 seconds long

In Magix it seems previously placed keyframes keyframes are retained in 'memory', so if the length of the clip is then restored to it's orig length after being previously trimmed the keyframes reappear, In Vegas if a clip is trimmed any keyframes
