  @CarpentersMate Just to clarify my understanding of your issue. It's not that playback of the video stutters or even freezes in the Program Monitor, the actual red play-head stops moving?! Does the audio still play while the play-head is stationary?

  Having the same exact problem. Ive hit the "P" key to reset and rescan soundpools, restarted the program, restarted my pc but nothing seems to be working.. I should have never upgraded to 2026. HOW DO WE FIX THIS?!

  @pete-thomas What does "froze" mean? Very slow user interface? Try disabling the Text-Cursor-Indicator in the Windows Accessibility settings. If you can no longer open Music Maker delete the musicmaker.ini file which stores the program settings.
