  @pomrd Under the Effects Menu should be a Resampling/Timestrechting/Pitch Shifting effect, which can be applied to an audio object after it was recorded, in case that is what you want.

  Removes bits of music when I resample from 48 - 44.00
   Never had this with Soundforge Pro 12 but since I got version 17 it takes out pieces of music when resampling. How can I fix this?

  @Jezus-Is-GOD I hope that you didn't delete the program but that you uninstalled it, otherwise you have made a big mess for yourself. MMM2025 - Effects are now under Effects Rack. Click on the FX button in the top menu. You get Track and Object.

  I do not recall any reports of this occurrence with PCM files, so it likely is a lossy file issue. As @SP. stated, enable "Always proxy compressed formats" in the "Options> Preferences> General" menu. Or.. render a PCM (wave) file and resample

  Unfortunately, as the OP said, you can't solve this with a single saved preset. If I have a 48khz stereo file I want to the save settings to automatically be the same. If I have a 48khz mono file then I want to the save settings to default to that.
