Improve video quality with AI
A few years ago I transferred the content of a number of miniDV tapes to VHS tapes. I then transferred the content of the VHS tapes to digital mp4 format. The image quality of the mp4 files is therefore worse than the image quality of the miniDV

RE: Improve video quality with AI
I tried enhancing some old VHS recordings before, and AI tools can definitely help sharpen details and reduce noise, even if they can’t fully restore the original miniDV quality. It’s worth testing on a short clip first before processing everything.

RE: Lines in digitized VHS
Do you have a CRT TV? Full HD LCD TV with Scart. It also could be that the signal on the tape weakend over the years and the TV boost it while the grabber might not boost the signal. The problem also applies to other VHS tapes.

RE: Version 7.0.1.12. Noise on the rescued movie from VHS tape.
@Aage-- Hello Aage, ....Noise on the rescued film from VHS tape... What you can do is to purchase a Head Cleaning Tape. With this you can clean the video heads of your video recorder. I personally use it regularly. See for example: Head Cleaning

RE: The output formats are messed up in Movie Studio 2024
See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telecine It mentions film gates in real time telecine machines, and also film slippage. This has evidence of both of these problems. The film slippage is evident where part of the scene jitters whale part of it does not.
