RE: MMS/MEP will not import this MP2 Audio
@me_again Cheers Andy, I don't doubt your superlative skill in this area; I think a TS extension might throw other players such as my phone. Unfortunately, I can't remember the dastardly program that created that file; I think it was a TV recording

RE: Glow/Luminance on white shirts (VHS-MP4)
@Rickvv Hi. I think Andy's version is cleaner than my own attempt. I tried using the LAB colour in VPX along with a little blur and sharpen trying to keep the grey areas as grey as possible but looking at the RGB output while the stage lighting was

RE: The AV1 codec
@CubeAce, @CubeAce Hi Andy Thanks for the tip, installed and tested. Films & TV and Media Player both crash about 3 seconds in on a 10 sec clip, VLC now plays and seeks correctly, the other 4 players are still a no-go. Clip is 1920 x 818 25.3

RE: Noise Sample Query MS 2024
@me_again Hi Andy, ERA 6 works and there is ERA6 NoiseRemoverPro which works the best. It's all free. Here is the link. Make sure to click on the correct downloads. No pw required, just unrar and install. Mackie purchased Accusonus, discontinued but

RE: Movie Studio 2025 Released
@me_again Hi Andy. This was a similar idea someone had put forward on the Resolve forum but their suggestion (which was slightly different) changed the file type. I tried your method and it works (In Win 10) and remains AV1 encoded. 👍 To make sure

RE: Odd Autosave Behavious with MS 2025 version 239
@me_again Hi Andy, If you look at my image, you'll see that the mvp and the first backup were 1,337 KB but the subsequent backups were 515. I did another save and it's now 515. Something hangs around, maybe an undo. Do you have any external drives

RE: Slideshow-Reducing photo length merges Audio track
@johnebaker @me_again @Can-Dive @AAProds Well this has gone apace since I last looked. Glad it works as it should in VPX although I hadn't tested that yet. I can find no mention of it only working in certain instances within the manual so I conclude

RE: Slow Export AVI to MPEG4 with RTX 3060
@me_again Hi Andy Thanks for checking. . . . . HEVC . . . . Looks like we have been talking at cross purposes I have been referring to h.264/AVC not h.265/HEVC which does indeed export at 900 x 600 correctly, with hardware acceleration, and no

@me_again Andy, has that Intel page been taken down? It's just leading me to general info articles now.

@me_again Hi Andy, In the Windows environment the default app for avi files is "Media Player" (the new one, not Legacy).

RE: Slow Export AVI to MPEG4 with RTX 3060
@me_again Hi Andy Thanks for rechecking. . . . . I can only assume that HEVC is a more "intelligent" codec to use . . . . I don't know about its intelligence 🙊, however the encoding process is far more complex and capable of encoding finer detail

RE: Help
@me_again @browj2 @AAProds @Gatu Hi Andy, Al. I notice you are both on Win 11 and John CB is on Windows 10. I wonder if it was a lack of a Windows update that has caused the problem as support for Windows 10 updates other than security patches has

RE: MS2024 - Photo Editing
@me_again Hi Andy, It seems that Photo Designer has gone away along with Xara. It was a Xara product, I believe. Magix has not stepped up with a replacement. As a long-time Xara user, I am not too pleased with this. 3D Maker is no longer available.

RE: Timeline Cursor Question
@me_again Hi Andy. Magix makes a big thing about how smooth playback is on not very powerful computers. 35 fps in most instances is above the 24fps needed for human visual coherence for the majority of people and sits reasonably well within most

RE: Upgrading my Computer (again!)
Hi Andy Does you son have any testing articles that he can point us to? From what I have seen, which IMO was not true 'comparative' testing, the ARCs are incredibly fast for rendering/encoding video when paired up with the appropriate modern, ie gen

RE: New Release MMS 2024....

RE: Slow Export AVI to MPEG4 with RTX 3060

RE: For the AVI-heads: MMS2023 Bug - incorrect file ratio on import
Thanks @johnebaker. @me_again Andy, I've capitulated for my current crop of projects and export out of VDub as 768x576. Works well! 😂 I would use 2021 but 2023 is faster with the GPU.
