RE: When I record multiple tracks I get an echo sound when all tracks played at the same time, how do I eliminate this?
The track monitoring is the REC button on the left of each track. Make sure those are all off on each track while recording. The 'playback while recording' check box is in the record dialog window... It's ok to leave that on at all times. It only

RE: how can I drop an audio effect onto an audio object
Hi, This is a real pain... I deal with it sometimes too. The best thing is to zoom way in and drop the effect. For some reason (another bug in Magix software) I can't drop an effect on a sample unless I'm zoomed in. Sometimes it works

Overdubbing is your friend - and it would only produce the effect you're talking about if you're using a mic. Justin

RE: When I record multiple tracks I get an echo sound when all tracks played at the same time, how do I eliminate this?
Hi, It sounds like you might have track monitoring on AND playback while recording enabled. Also check your sound card settings to ensure that the "What You Hear" IS NOT enabled. That will record whatever comes out your speakers as well as what

RE: When I record multiple tracks I get an echo sound when all tracks played at the same time, how do I eliminate this?
Hi, First - make sure track record monitoring is off by unselecting the REC button in the icon (left) area of each track... this can cause that effect. How are you creating tracks? Are you recording from a mic/outside source or are you dragging

RE: some .MP3 files are not being recognized by my Magix Music Maker 14 Producer Edition. Instead of music there's just a noise. Please help me!
Hi, Are you certain you're using .MP3? It's sounds obvious but what some consider .MP3 are not. For example - iTunes songs generally are not and many others as well. Confirm first they are actually .MP3 Next get a free program like Audacity and

RE: how do i keep cpu usage under 100% without freeze and having to get more memory?
Hi, You may be able to increase your buffers to take some burden off your CPU but if your HDD has slow RPM then you'll get some artifacts or chatter in your playback. Make sure you're using ASIO driver - and not the Magix ASIO. That uses less CPU

RE: Setting Up Korg mixing Kontroller
Hi, The simple answer is no. As far as I know Magix does not support control surfaces. They've only started simultaneous tracking in the last couple years - they are a bit behind the industry. I wouldn't hold my breath on this one. Honestly - it

RE: why does my dvd movie work in some dvd players and not in others?
Hi, This is the unfortunate nature of DVD manufactures. Many are unable to read a burned DVD - others are finicky about the disk type. I've had the best luck with DVD +R but experiment with different types. Make sure you have a good burner too.

RE: fade
Are you in expert mode? Did you uncheck it by accident? Try enabling expert mode by clicking the button. If that doesn't work tell me what product / version you're using and we'll go from there. Justin

Hi, I don't know for certain... you might be able to with Samplitude. Do you still have audio studio 7? Are you able to export your tracks into .wav? If so you can recreate your songs in Samplitude. Justin

RE: Why does Magix Movie Edit Pro crash my Vista system?
Hi, This sounds like a cop-out but try updating your video AND sound drivers from the product manufactures. Many times core Windows hardware drivers are not sufficient for an intense application like MEP. Justin

Hi, You're most likely going to have to export to .wav - I've had a similar situation with different products and was not able to do it except in .wav or .mp3 I agree with Lazerboy; consider Samplitude Music Studio. Justin

RE: [Closed] importing tapes
Hi, Lazerboy touched on something that's important; are you using a PC sound card to record? If yes then make sure you're using the line-in and not the mic-in. The mic-in will boost your gain for lower mic levels and cause clipping. Justin

RE: How do I get rid of clicking sound while I record?
...also remember to keep your input levels low. You may be experiencing clipping. It's always better to record low and boost your gain later. You'll get a cleaner, better recording. Justin

RE: Connect Midi Controller/ Korg NanoKey to MMM14
Hi You will most likely need to go to your program settings and choose the Korg as your Midi device. Magix will not usually do this by default. Select your Korg first, then follow abcd's instructions. Justin

RE: How do I get rid of clicking sound while I record?
Hi, It sounds like your not using ASIO drivers for your M-audio or you're using the Magix generic ASIO. Go into playback parameters and set your driver the the M-Audio ASIO. If that does not work download the ASIO4ALL driver from

Let me clarify something here... when I'm talking about Samplitude I'm talking about the Magix product here: http://www.samplitude.com/eng/sam/uebersicht.html I'm not talking about Samplitude Music Studio - that's an inflated version of Music

RE: burnig cd's and dvd's with id3 tags
ID3 tags are for MP3 only and if you convert to .wav to burn to cd they will be lost. This is not Magix fault - this has always been. Yes their support sucks... and it's getting worse. Justin

Hi Veronica, This is a user base and not Magix Support. I recommend you remove your email address; then email Magix support at http://support.magix.net/ I hope that helps and wish you the best, Justin
