RE: Fresh install, won't play past 1min47sec increments. What gives?
Windows 11 didn't help with the current free Magix download either. I don't know what fancy computer you guys are using to run this program but all my latencies are set to low and my computer is up to date. I'm not even trying to record anything,

RE: Fresh install, won't play past 1min47sec increments. What gives?
@Bradley-Sugarman Maybe your i3 is a little weak for Music Maker? What are your driver settings in Music Maker (click on the gear icon in the top left > go to the tab Audio/MIDI)? Direct Sound usually works without problems for playback. You can

@AAProds @Moe-Habib @browj2 Hi Al. I did say may. The program may also not be VPX 2 Looking through the manual for VPX 2 there is no mention of whether it is 64 or 32 bit. If 32 bit there could be memory address problems above 4GB. The export codecs

RE: cant seem to get my microphone to work
@real-incorrigible USB microphone? You need to select the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver in the Music Maker program settings and then click on "Advanced..." to open the driver settings where you need to activate your microphone as an input.

No, I just use the wave driver. Just now I tried what you suggested with the Magix Low Latency, but I don't understand what I'm doing in "advanced" settings. Anyway, it didn't work. I tried various audio driver settings, nothing works. I did

@john-doe @kkm Did both of you configure the audio driver settings with the "Advanced..." button in the Music Maker program settings? This is necessary if you use Magix Low Latency as the audio driver.

RE: No sound, no loops, locked instruments, frustrating!
I go back to my first impression of MMMP2022. There seems to be more problems than results with MMMP2022. I still cannot get the keyboard to play, so my audio driver is wrong. The Magix low latency=static, direct sound driver=nothing. On another

rraud, After I found your response a few hours later, I went back to the system with SF. I selected the magix audio device and I was able to play an .mp3 (as well as a .wav). Its playing at full fidelity but is not really usable because of the delay

RE: No sound out after upgrade to build 121
Do PCM <.wav> (and other) file types exhibit the same behavior as MP3s? If this is isolated to MP3s, I would recommend uninstall/reinstall again, but use a third-party uninstaller like 'Revo Uninstall' which can remove left-over registry

No sound out after upgrade to build 121
I just installed the latest upgrade to SF 15, build 121. After this upgrade, I get no sound out when playing any .mp3. I restarted the system, removed then reinstalled - same issue. SF sees all the playback devices. SF defaults to the magix low

RE: No sound, no loops, locked instruments, frustrating!
From what I can see the audio driver is a Intel Smart Sound for USB Audio Properties. Or a Realtek ASIO. The Magix low latency pops up but all there is, is static. I just bought this computer and have more than the requirements to run MMMP2022, but

RE: Update issues - crashing and static
Firstly, which version of SF do you have? Read the 'Sticky' at the head for the main Sound Forge forum page. If you have Audio Studio, there is an issue with the low latency driver that is known to cause static noise issues. A relatively simple

RE: Problem with midi sound - playback.
@Giorgos-Kyprianou To hear sound from your keyboard you need to to load a VST instrument on the audio track and enable the MIDI REC mode in the track header. You have no sound in other programs if you use Magix Low Latency or ASIO4ALL as an audio

It's an old realtek 5.1 PCI card that came with the computer. When I go into audio set up the options are: WASAPI speakers, WASAPI Digital, WASAPI, high definition, Magix low latency, WDM and MME. No idea what any of these mean but the only one that

@James-JONES3335 In case you use the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver ACID will block all other apps from accessing your audio devices. In this case you cannot play back any audio while ACID is running.

RE: Cant get my usb M-audio keyboard to work.
@Eric-Dalpe Yes, go into the program settings and select Magix Low Latency as your audio driver. Magix Low Latency is an ASIO driver and you need to select it if you want to hear what you play with your keyboard. You can also use other ASIO drivers.
