Why is this software so unreliable?
First, let me state that I'm a long-time user of Vegas Pro and have ZERO issues with the functionality/stability of that program or any other on my system. But, with YouTube being what it is, I wanted to have the ability to whip up simple music

RE: audio is not working, white noise feed back
AFAIK, the 'Magix Low Latency 2016' registry entry does not exist in Sound Forge Pro.If SFP is version you have, go to the "View" menu, select "Record Options" and set the "Monitor" option to 'OFF' (or Auto) after setting your record levels and

RE: Not connecting to my microphone
@Jerry-Eaglefeather You need to configure the audio driver in the program settings. Usually you need to select ASIO (Magix Low Latency) and then you need to click on the "Advanced..." button to open the driver settings. You can click on the wrench

RE: No Sound
@Bob-Triggs Please check your audio settings inside the program settings. You can select drivers like Direct Sound, ASIO, WASAPI etc. Try one and configure it. For example, I use ASIO with Magix Low Latency 2016 and this is how I have it configured

RE: Why is this software so unreliable?
The drivers used for Wave driver and Direct sound drivers are those supplied by Microsoft and /or the audio card/chipset manufacturers. If the Microsoft drivers are used, for some models of Realtek chipset I have found that they are not the full

@Stuart-Morris If you have selected the Magix Low Latency driver inside the program settings in Music Maker you will not have any sound outside of Music Maker because this driver needs exclusive access to your sound hardware. You should get your

RE: AM I BEING RIPPED OFF
@MIKE-DION Hi If you mean: You see this as a small dialog usually bottom right of the screen - then this is just an information message telling you that the ASIO driver is active - ignore it as it goes away after a few seconds. Why is it not

RE: Using a RODE usb mic with Music Maker
I'm more concerned that it says ASIO4All (3&4). Surely it should ASIO4All (1&2). I don't think it a problem having this as an output. It's similar to how mine is set albeit with a different ASIO driver and indeed with John's with Magix Low

RE: No Sound after upgrading to Music maker 2022
@Andrew-Allen Try the different audio drivers in the program settings. Direct Sound should work fine if you just use loops. If you want to use MIDI or record your own sounds you need an ASIO driver for monitoring. Magix Low Latency is an ASIO driver

This issue was solved by removing the "Magix Low Latency 2016" driver from the registry as rraud describes above. Here is a link to that thread. Seems to be an issue with new Dells. https://www.magix.info/us/forum/hiss-white-noise--1276238/
