  Thanks, pasted the mp3 file. Searched for the song's name, and the vocal files came up. Glued them in. Didn't get to mix more on the loops themselves, but it was still ok 😊

  Lossy (data compressed) file types such as MP3, AAC, ect. require codecs to render (save / encode) a file and playback (decode). PCM (Wave) files are not compressed and do not need a codec. Wave is the preferred file type for editing and processing.

  @G.K.G. In case you use files like MP3 please go into the preferences and enable to always proxy compressed files. The compression algorithms can lead to problems with the waveforms.

  Hi @James-Drake, use a Sony version Sound Forge for the 'Scott Studios Wave'. Magix likely chose not to pay the licensing fee. The Scott Studios Wave is an atypical PCM file with specific Metadata fields. I do not know if a BWF or MP3 would suffice,
