@robert-p Don't edit MP3 files. Convert them to WAV first or enable to always proxy compressed file formats in the program preferences. Compressed formats like MP3, OGG or AAC or are only for distribution to listeners after the final export.

Why does my track change tempo when changing the key signature?

@JennyPxyz Export in a compressed file format (mp3 / ogg) in a low bitrate (64 kbps). If you only have speech in your recording you can also reduce the samplerate to 11 kHz or 8 kHz.
