@browj2 Hi John The quick answer is if you are not producing video for TV broadcast then, IMHO, these settings are not so relevant. Q1 & 2  UHD is BT.2020 is it not? Thus for a 4K (or higher) project, one should select BT.2020 That depends on

    RE: MPEG activation
@Gary-Bowler Hi Gary. If you can edit your footage in MEP 2013 and just export it as a file then maybe you could use one of the free DVD burner programs you can find on the net to complete your project. Ray.

    RE: Trouble with Photostory
Well that's not the problem either, it's set on NTSC. Both the computer and burner are plugged into an uninteruptable power source. Haven't tried the image route, mainly because it shouldn't be necessary.

Just a thought, as this is from a laptop, not desktop as you usually uses - could the burning be disrupted due to lack of power to the BD writer?I have looked at various external BD writers and typically they flag that they might not be used with

    RE: Trouble with Photostory
Yes, it was a Magix update. Like I said, this was the first slideshow I had worked on with this computer. I worked on it for about 6 hours, saved the work and closed the program. I had about 13.5 minutes done on the show. The next morning, when I

@craigjhowe Are you saying the Update you mentioned in your original question was actually an update to Photostory? I rather think that other users may have assumed the same thing as I did, that the update was actually to Windows itself. When you

@CubeAce Hi Ray . . . .fans can suffer from dust . . . . Bigger fans are better - they shift more air at a slower speed and are easier to clean. My power pack and the case fans(2) are all 5" and you do not hear them running when the internal case

@browj2@browj2 First, fans can suffer from dust I agree but on average seem the most robust of components. I have more fans than I know what to do with so I rotate them taking some out and replacing them with ones I've cleaned. I don't do it that

Hi all, Ray, you have enough material here for a book. The screen rf problem was just dust on the screen. I now keep a Swiffer in my office to dust the screen, the desk and other places where dust quickly collects. That reminds me, my Surface Pro

RE: PhotoStory does not recognize external DVD RW Drive

@CubeAce Hi Ray . . . . Regarding a re-download and install of Current MEP . . . . Because in effect you have a new computer MEP will require re-registering/activating again. Windows 10 - I would recommend you get Windows 10 Pro you can then control

    RE: trouble with loading
@dpewit I do not understand : how can I create the ISO disc image? Look at the image in @johnebaker's post directly above yours. On that Burn screen, at the top, there is a drop-down menu which includes your internal DVD burner and "Image Recorder".
