I've been looking and seeing others with green screen issues, i used the chroma key function on this program a couple years ago and it worked flawlessly - now its almost impossible to use, so frustrating - its either gray or, when i make adjustments

    RE: chroma key
@Charles-Baldwin @emmrecs Hi Charles. Can you also do a print screen of your time line area showing the tracks involved please? I've been using the chroma key effect a lot recently but not with use with a green screen. Ray.

Hi. I do lots of different things depending on the background. From adding shadow and highlights to doing as you are suggesting. Even a simple background can be made using Microsoft Paint or Paint 3D. Make the background either white or black or

@browj2 The animation at 50fps is a 506 frame clip giving one complete rotation of the object. They have to be placed together to form the complete rotation of the object throughout. The clip is of the object with a white background (A black

@FF22 @johnebaker Hi. No, it never is. I'm having different problems of my own at the moment with a novel experiment using the Chroma Key plugin combined with the Cookie Cutter. Dealing with variable frame rates is not my speciality I'm afraid or

    RE: chromakey
@johnebaker This is definitely a bug and has been widely reported, especially in French. There is no problem if you use an image with the green created by a graphics programs. The problem arises with a real green screen which is not perfectly

    RE: Chroma Key Help Please
@emmrecs Grrr! To make a liar out of me, I tried 2 methods, one by creating images like yours, and the other by using a treated video. For the latter, I had made a section, used Chromakey green, and had a background of perfect green. This worked

    RE: Chroma Key Help Please
@browj2 Hi John. I repeated my "test" albeit slightly differently. I used 3 solid colours, blue green and red, sized as per the screenshot below: I then muted/hid the largest (blue) object and exported the red and green as an .mp4 (to try and

    RE: Chroma Key Help Please
@1940 I seem to remember this being discussed as a problem in an earlier release of VPX 11, possibly one of the first releases of it. So, exactly which version do you currently have (check under Help>About). I've just checked this in 17.0.3.68

    RE: Chroma Key
@browj2 that works to select the area. I tried the other chroma key colours with other videos and the blue works fine but i can't get the green to. I'll open a ticket. Thank you!

@terrypin i tried a few different pngs in the screenshots i attached above it is just a solid black background pic. Yep, as John CB says, it looks like a bug. A serious one too, if you can't use Chroma key green.

Hi Ray, I'm another Bluff Titler fan. While John is no doubt sleeping off his latest snow-shovelling exhaustion I can answer your question with a Yes. Just export the appropriately prepared BT result and import into MEPP for the usual chroma key

    RE: Projector screen effect
@browj2 Hi John, Many thanks, all understood. I had first restored UI access to the portrait effect. (Somehow beamer.cfx had been deleted from the appropriate folder.) So that's now accessed by Import|UserVideoEffects|Other|Portrait|Projector 23.
