RE: Can't Move Objects freely - they keep snapping to points
I'm struggling to understand the problem here. I sync camera sound with voice recorder sound for every project, mainly weddings but also theatre productions and music. Recording at 25fps in PAL land means that the most the audio can be out of synch

RE: Any problems to expect if upgrading CPU/MB/ and operating system?
@johnebaker Hi John. I don't disagree that larger fans are quieter and my fans are only 3" but they are very quiet and running on a monitored speed controller. If I'm working with no sound on in my room I can hear my smartphone text 'microwave ping'

Hi all, Ray, you have enough material here for a book. The screen rf problem was just dust on the screen. I now keep a Swiffer in my office to dust the screen, the desk and other places where dust quickly collects. That reminds me, my Surface Pro

RE: Voice over for Video with text to speech
@joy-n Hi . . . . Is it possible to add voice effects in audio to make it more human like emotions of happiness, sadness, fear, anger, surprise and disgust . . . . @yvon-robert has hinted at the solution . . . .best solution was to remake the voice

RE: Need help with new computer specs
One thing you haven't mentioned yet is your editing needs beyond the system itself. Do you need to future proof? Honestly, I'm not even sure what my needs are. I'm a complete rookie. I know I want to record and edit some training videos. Do you need

RE: Should ambient sounds be centred?
Yes the stereo recording in the church would give me the overall sound with the huge church natural soaring reverb, but when I want just the vows and readings, I would mix the two together to give a much more intimate sound to those parts, sometimes

RE: Should ambient sounds be centred?
As an example, you could record the general stereo sound of a busy shopping mall with people passing buy, background chatter etc. To that, you could add your subject talking to a friend in a close up shot, which would need to be recorded in

RE: Should ambient sounds be centred?
@Mitch-way06 . . . . the two characters talking were positioned in the centre of the frame, then the mono recording of their voices would be panned to the centre . . . . Is this a true mono recording ie one audio channel only in the file or is it a

RE: Should ambient sounds be centred?
If you are recording background ambient sound in stereo to give width and space to it, it would be panned centre to give equal balance to left and right stereo positioning of the recording. If you panned it to one side, you would completely lose the

@steveunkles @steveunkles Hi Steve, Definitely try it out first. My 30 day trial has come and gone. I'm still debating on whether or not to upgrade. I have the same version of AML Premium as you, I believe: 22.2.0.53. Here is the list of

RE: How to create distance in audio?
As CubeAce has said, audio varies infinitely according to where and how it was recorded, so it will always be difficult to exactly capture an authentic soundtrack. There are a few things that it will help to bear in mind, the first of which is that

    Minor Chords in ACID

RE: Problem with music maker and sound forge
So, how does one make a remix of another song? I am very curious. One has to have access to the original, preferably multitrack recording. From that individual tracks/instruments/voices can be "isolated" and changed/removed etc. or "new" parts
