  I check for updates every day. Vegas 22 works fine so I would think soundforge 18 would work. Vegas is the software that is most updated. Sound Forge 18 has not received an update. If Magix has no interest in Sound Forge, then Magix should sell it.

  @mary-o If you changed the setting to TRUE and it's still TRUE after restarting the app, the setting was applied. Then that's not the problem. The settings just prevents the application from opening multiple times if you open multiple audio files. I

  @DyReck411 I don't think that there will be any further development on Acid and only very minimal development on Sound Forge. Long term, they will very likely prioritize Vegas, Music Maker and Samplitude/Sequoia. Video Pro X will get new features
