RE: VPX15, no hardware encoding during BD burning
Thanks for the replies. @johnebaker @AAProds @CubeAce Ok, so do we agree that this is a problem with the programming of VPX15? Or is there something I haven't thought about? Ray, something doesn't add up here. If I do a simple export to AVCHD/m2ts,

RE: Should I choose Video Pro X or Vegas Pro?
@ghijohansson Hi How and on what type of devices are you playing the .m2ts files? The issues you appear to be having exporting to other file formats and losing quality is most likely due to incorrect export preset/settings. In particular export to

RE: Selecting Movie Settings with VP X16
@rickduley Rick, no, that's great. A quicker thing to try before you do a complete re-render would be to change the MTS into an MP4 with AVIDemux; my guide here. In addition to that, on the Audio menu, choose "Select track" and untick everything

RE: Problem with exported DVD
@johnebaker Hi John, Many thanks for sticking with me on this! The client left me 5 VHS tapes; 4 have transferred and exported to DVD without problem (though no discs burned yet), 3 are single-layer, 1 is dual. The two-tape set is indeed a part 1

@ann-hesselsweet Just to clarify, photostory accepts MOV files but when the project is burned the format is changed so there shouldnt be a problem with the MOV files i have included? correct? Yes, but you need at least the basic QuickTime (QT)

RE: Dual Layer DVDs - atrocious luck or is just my project
@AAProds Hi Al . . . . I suspect (could be wrong though) that Magix wants you to split the project to another disk, not a DL disk. . . . Using the 'Split project' option does indeed split the project over 2 discs and ISO files - see my post above,

@clement5 @johnebaker That's an interesting file you've got there, Clement. Uncompressed, de-telecined. I'm curious, how'd you do it? For next time, you should just snip a couple of minutes for us to analyse and/or put it into a lossless compressed

@rickduley, @AAProds Hi Rick. Al . . . . you can further reduce the eventual file size by removing the end of "Shane", at the start, and the start of "Jackal", at the end . . . I repeated the tests with the original mts file, removing the above and

@CubeAce You had me worried. So I plugged my 12 year old external Y lead ASUS SBW-06D2X-U drive into my Win 11 machine. It was instantly recognised and the drive opened asking for a disk. I don't have a Blu-ray ready to burn at present so just

@Wayne-Osborne Do you try to burn MP3 with ID3 tags on a CD? If your stereo can play MP3 CDs it should be able to read out the ID3 tags. You can also do this with Windows by simply dragging and dropping MP3 files onto a disc. Windows can then burn
