  Hi @Matt-Francis there isn't a way to do proper side chaining in acid due to its very limited audio routing. The above video is a massive cludge on getting it to work, and comes with obvious down sides... db audioware has a decent compressor plugin

  Why am I only able to edit first bar of midi data
  I am trying to step record a midi bass line but I can only edit the first bar of data. I tried moving the yellow bar at top to the next section I want to edit, but when I select MIDI Editor it takes me to the first bar again. How can I override this?

  Hi Jeff, thanks for your input! Re. keys: ok, so the C flat to B was a bad example, lol. What if I want a C minor or a C7? :) For me cutting a loop to the needed bar length usually results in a skipping sound when the tape moves to the next bar.
