RE: VPX12 New Version now out - New Features - Old bugs?
@johnebaker You are correct, but of course, it would depend on the material. I would usually correct volume levels first before mixing down. As well, normalize is to be used judiciously and not blindly. I have an example of 4 audio clips of a walk

@coraly Welcome to the Magix user to user forums. First, can you tell us exactly which version and variant of MM you have? Mention of Sound Forge makes me think this is the latest (2021) version (aka version 29) but is this the Plus or Premium

RE: CD quality mastering - Soundforge pro 12 suite
Welcome to the Magix Sound Forge user forum @hinsley. The maximum bitrate for the MP3 audio codec is 320kbs. Constant bit rate (CBR) is best for web streaming. The AAC codec (.mp4 / .m4a) is another format to consider. It is lossy like MP3 but

RE: Master level meters in the project window?
@guitacid - it's possible to dock the loudness window to the right so that it's the full size of the Acid window. Although, it's really picky about doing it. I've found if you un-dock the loudness window, so it's floating. And then drag it up to the

RE: Movie Edit Pro Plus - how do I add 3rd party VST FX?
@CubeAce Hi Ray, I covered YouLean thoroughly in this thread. To summarize, YouLean is a meter, not a tool; it does nothing but measure loudness, dynamic range, peaks and makes a graph showing the loudness over time, with indicators whenever the
