    RE: problem recording
Hi again, The audio "bleed through" you're getting is a Creative little gem called 'what your hear' You have to go into the sound card settings and uncheck 'what you hear' and make sure line-in is selected. When 'what you hear' is selected

RE: [Closed] Burned DVD will play in one device but not another
Hi, Morbotron answered a similar question that might pertain to you. He said: "Movie Edit Pro burns region free discs. Maybe your DVD player can't play region free discs - Sony is particularly notorious for not allowing this, supposedly to "combat

    RE: pre-recording devices
Hi again, First let me say that endorsing specific products is not a problem. I've been told by Magix directly that this is for music discussion not just Magix products. That being said let me offer three suggestions for recording interfaces -

    pre-recording devices
Justin, thanks for the info.  I tried what you said and everything is working fine now although I though I did the same thing last week. I am a little confused on your comment about the sound card.  I am new to this and do not know anything

RE: HOW DO I STOP THE SKIPPING IN MY PLAYBACK AND AS I'M RECORDING?
We need more info like recording interface and your system but to start... make sure you're using ASIO drivers and you have set your audio buffers high either in Magix, your interface or both. Also check your interface/sound card for latest drivers

RE: How can we contact Magix about Website problems?
Unfortunately Magix support is poorly set up and the helpful feedback folks will quite often point you to somebody who can help. Again; when ALL ELSE FAILS... use the feedback link. Good luck, Justin

RE: recording using Magix Studio 14. I am having difficulties getting midi to work using an M-Audio Uno. I am also having problems switching from microphone to line-in.
Hi, We'll get this solved - your recording should not be a frustrating process. First confirm it's not a problem with your SB X-Fi by plugging in your mic and testing. You should hear audio through your speakers. If not; DOUBLE click the speaker

Hi, When all else fails... click the feedback link on the top right of this page. Ask your question there and you will get a response. They should be able to point you in the right direction. Justin

    RE: playback problem
Wow... strange behaviour. Do you have plenty or RAM? Does this happen on a specific arrangement/track or does it seem to be random. What type of audio interface do you have? Is it the internal sound card? Justin

    RE: Burning question
Thanks for the kind words webguy! Perhaps you should tell us the type of burner you have - like I said before; I've had good luck with DVD +R disks. Most modern DVD burners are multi-format and should be able to accommodate this type. You

    RE: Burning question
Hi, The DVD format is not as standard as it should be... many disks wont play on stand alone players. Make sure your DVD player can recognise recorded disks and try different formats. I've found that DVD +R works in about 95% of the players I've

RE: how do i speed up just a section of a song
Hi there, A little more detail would be helpful but I'll give it a shot. I'll assume you have a single .wav or .mp3 and wish to speed up one portion of it. First you must cut out the section you wish to change. To do this place the start marker

    RE: playback problem
Ok, Next I would try switching from the Magix ASIO driver (in the software settings) to WAV or DirectX. Also try the sound card manufacturer's ASIO driver if they are available in the settings window. These can be changed in the playback parameter

RE: How do I record 4 or more tracks at the same time using an M-Audio Delta 44?
Hi, Not that I know of... you'll need a higher-end product like Protools. Unfortunately Magix only let's you choose the interface to record with; not assign inputs to tracks. I can't say for certain about Samplitude but other Magix products will

RE: USB Mic not working in Samplitude Music Studio 14
Hi Katt, I'll tackle some of these questions - I'll leave the rest for others. 1.) The USB mic will work - you have to change the recording interface in the record dialog. It's a drop down menu (if I'm not mistaken) and simply select the Logitec.

Hi, Well it sounds like a simple setting change and we should be able to get this resolved for you. First, let me know what set-up you're using. Are you using a built-in sound card or external audio interface? Justin

    RE: MIDI Connection Problem-
Bummer! Well... it has nothing to do with your sound card. First thing to try is downloading a free MIDI sequencer (there are MANY available) and verify your MIDI is working correctly. If yes, let me know and we'll tackle settings and etc. and try

    RE: playback problem
Hi, Are you using a sound interface or the built-in sound card? Certain recording interfaces were showing this behaviour and needed a firmware update. This can be found on the manufacture's website. Try also to update your sound card drivers if

RE: i clone in magix movie edit pro 14 plus
Bummer Kim, It's most likely due to license restrictions or software export limitations posted by the Canadian government. Many times software is restricted by the authorities and not the manufacturer. It would be more cost effective for Magix to

RE: [Closed] Which way is the best way to use the Limiter on the Music maker, to smooth out the volume better.
Hi John, I would agree with Baba... use a compressor - it already has the "brick wall" limit funtion since a limiter is built into most, if not all, compressors. By using the compressor you are already employing a limiter. The trick is finding the

Was the song created with Magix or is it a .wav or .mp3? If it's a .wav or .mp3 then import it as usual. Magix will default to 120 BPM because it doesn't know the tempo. When you change the BPM to 100 it assumes the song was 120 and slows it
