  I'm trying to do a loop recording. When recording from my MIDI controller, it will pass the loop marker. And how do you do non-destructive recordings?

  Serato Sample 2 won't accept MIDI in ACID
  Serato's new Sample 2 plugin won't accept MIDI notes from the piano roll or MIDI controllers. It makes sound if I hit the pads in the plugin's interface. Hope this gets fixed since ACID's stems got removed.

  @Richard-Docherty No, the sound is saved in a ROM chip or flash memory on your keyboard. MIDI only contains note values, controller curve values or program changes and no sound. You need to record the audio output of your keyboard into the computer.

  I've gone back to acid pro 10, 😂 the midi works well in it, I'm learning to work around the bugs I'll get to make some music one of these days instead of messing around with software I'm sure of it, thanks for your help.

  I agree with Dougs sentiments, I find this program very buggy and a massive nuisance where midi is concerned, the people who developed it are obviously too smart for their own good, you just want to be able to use the bloody daw.   samplitude x8

  @pete-c any Midi keyboard should work in W11. But I've never seen one auto-map using USB Midi. If your audio interface has a midi input (not usb midi) then no mapping should be required. If you use USB Midi...you'll have some work to do. Cheers

  @Tomasz-Szwej The crash could be caused by your audio driver settings. In the Music Maker program settings select the Audio/MIDI tab and select an ASIO driver. If you don't have an audio interface with ASIO drivers you can select the Music Maker
