    RE: chapters not working
@rexbond Hi You appear to have 2 issues here: . . . . it creates a page that shows the chapters but it is static . . . . Chapter menus, unlike main menus which can be animated, are static in MEP. . . . . I have basically only the "chapters" tab

    RE: blue ray player
Hi . . . . I need to burn it on a blue ray dvd to play in on my blue ray player, correct? . . . . No - all Blu-ray players should be able to play DVD's. The most likely causes are a disc issue ie not being recognized by the player or the disc was

RE: Movie Edit Pro - New version 2019 - New Features
Is anyone else having problems with Chapters not working correctly on burnt Blu Ray disks in this release? E.g. a project with one Chapter marker at the start and six other Chapter markers works correctly when previewing the DVD menu within MEP, but

RE: Movie Edit Pro - New version 2019 - New Features
@johnebaker Hi John, After paddling around in the kayak for 4 hours drowning worms on Thursday, we relaxed yesterday. I installed MEP2019 (updated to 204) without downloading everything, particularly the Design Elements, menu files for DVD's, music,

RE: menu encoding failed - MEP 2018
I did have a look but that seems a long winded way round it when the issue has only just occurred. I do actually still have the 2016 version of MEP installed on the laptop so thought I would load the project into that. It seems to have loaded in ok

@nick_vid . . . . dont want a film menu, just a basic menu page that comes up when you put the DVD in the player so you can select which race you want. . . . You must have a film menu - did you look at the tutorial I pointed you to - it does what

Hi Nick, Glad to hear that you are still doing the racing vids, I remember well the conversations we had about the possibility of doing it as a business. Claire sends her regards by the way 🙂 Regarding the dvd problem, it could be the windows update

RE: menu encoding failed - MEP 2018
@nick_vid It would appear that you only have Chapters and no Film menu, this is not allowed - you must have at least one film menu - why this worked previously is a mystery - also there does not appear to be a link to the next chapter page(s) or you

menu encoding failed - MEP 2018
Hello, I have a sudden issue with the menu encoding on MEP 2018. Its on my laptop and every other DVD I have edited and rendered has been perfect, up until this one. Its nothing technical video wise, mainly just 1 camera with fades and titles during

RE: Putting a DVD and HEVC file on a DVD+R DL
@Recycler Hi Mike Thanks for the clarification. VLC vs Movies & TV is a bit of a swings and roundabouts situation - VLC is excellent for playing DVD complete with menu options, however Movies & Tv seems to be better with h.265. To play BD

Photostory Deluxe 2018 DVDs can't be read by DVD Player
Up until 2 months ago, I made monthly slideshow DVDs for my company's stores to display products currently on sale. I had previously been using an older version of Photostory, though I'm not sure how old as it was purchased by another employee who

RE: New fact regarding DVDs, Win10, VPX
Hi Greg WMP cannot play VOBs because it does not recognise the file .VOB extension, however if you change the file extension to .MPG it will play them. This kind of defeats the object of testing the DVD as it also does not recognise the menu system.

RE: [Closed] What 'quality level number' do I need to select to get max possible??
Genuinely don't get why the developers of Magix were incapable of putting a basic standard pause button in, like every single other editing software has though.Just is bewildering why they thought the product would be better/or even ok without such

When you are exporting the files from Magix to Mp4, go into 'File-export movie as mp4', select the export type, then use the 'advanced' tab to set the BR at whatever you want it to be. Roger No 'advanced tab' shows mate.Just a drop down menu of

    RE: '...file cannot be read!'
@mojoaudioguru Hi . . . . I just can't understand why MEP 2018+ isn't saving the menu file correctly. I don't think that by just changing the audio, (Or, in some cases the video clips shown in the menus), makes that much of a difference. In fact,

Johnebaker, I always select "use all." Although, since building a new computer and having 'Hardware Acceleration' abilities once again, the process is very fast, I don't want to go thru the rendering process, again. I just employ what's already been

@mojoaudioguru Hi Thanks for the info. . . . . I come back to burn a DVD or BDR, and the menu "...cannot be read!" . . . . It's frustrating that I have to continue re-creating a menu, every time I want to burn a new copy. . . . When you come back

Johnebaker, I simply changed the audio in the menu, in order to reflect the content of the video. (A song that is actually in the video) However, this has also happened when I don't change a thing on the menu. I tried it with it's own music, intact.
