RE: vhs capture with green line at bottom
Its the trailer for Virtuosity 1995 so the sound would be shoot em up levels. I've got another VCR with vu meters so i'll break it out and compare the levels tomorrow to see if it's loud or quiet. I've heard many Pre recorded loud soundtracks so

RE: vhs capture with green line at bottom
Tape was always wound back to start. In tape drawers and not stacked on each other. Neutral climate but stored away from direct light and heat etc... I'd rate the Kaiser a candidate for crimes of promotng the Loudness war it was just unworkable. The

@browj2 The animation at 50fps is a 506 frame clip giving one complete rotation of the object. They have to be placed together to form the complete rotation of the object throughout. The clip is of the object with a white background (A black

RE: definition of rendering vs mastering
Hi @m-f7644 Welcome to the Acid Forums! Mastering tends to mean preparing your audio for ideal EQ, Loudness, balance, etc and is more the a process or artform to go through. You can do all of this in Acid with the right thought about your track as

RE: Any outstanding bugs/things need to be fixed in MEP 2020?
As the title of this thread is about bugs, I have tried to keep up the bug list for VPX and I gave up on MEP when it went to 2020 but I did not. However, many of the bugs are the same in VPX as in MEP. If anyone wants the doc file of the bug list

RE: Movie Edit Pro Plus - how do I add 3rd party VST FX?
@CubeAce Hi Ray, Strange. Can you download and install the free version of YouLean Meter 2 from the website, both 32 and 64 bits, locate where it gets installed to in the 64 bit, and navigate to that folder with the VSTplugin installer in MEP?

Thanks for your reply. I upgraded to SFpro14 and then followed your instructions, with the same result: the software is successfully trying to record, but without any of the actual sound coming thru to be recorded (the recording waveform in SFpro14

RE: VPX Setting, Adjusting and Analyzing Loudness - Plugins
@Craigster Hi, The YouLean meter only measures, it's not a Limiter. I suggest that you look at their web site and this . For me, the graph is the main feature. I can see clearly parts that are too loud and also locate points where the max loudness

Hey Metallica! No audio FX applied to the clip. Only reduced the volume level in some videos as they were too loud, compared to the main voice. Here is a link of the previous video i recorded with no problem at all. I´ll try with the mastering

Just thought that I would update this as I replied to a user on the French forum about how to get fairly even perceived levels from one audio recording to another, mainly with songs. Using MEP2019, in the image below I have two Magix audio files.

Statistics take longer because loudness data in now measured. Good for 'integrated' LK measurement ( and significantly faster than real-time). I use it a lot, but It would be nice to have the option to shut off that parameter if it is not needed.
