RE: using MusicMaker 14, on Mastering levels, where does it clip, on the 0 or 6. I want to get the most ...
Well first off... louder is not better and any mastering engineer will tell you - you loose quality with volume. The nuances and details of your song is lost. Unfortunately today's trend is to get as loud as possible which requires a compressor.

You will have to convert it to a .gif format. Formats like .jpg do not support transparent backgrounds; you'll end up with a solid (usually white) square. Justin

RE: [Closed] Computer sound in Windows
Hi, Double click the speaker icon in your system tray and make sure the Line-In is not muted or that the volume is too low. The recording section may have Line-In enabled but the playback section may not. Uncheck it and bring the volume up. If

RE: How do I get msic on a CD from a turntable?
Well, The quick and dirty way is to patch your player into your PC, record each song as a .wav one at a time then burn them to CD. If you want a more in-depth method including how to automate track separation and to remove the LP "click" then

    RE: click track
Hi, Not many people here will know what a click track is. An important feature sadly lacking in many Magix products. What version are you using? I may have a solution (or workaroud) depending on what version. Are you using a mic to record your

RE: since when and in which country did samples have any copyright protection?
Here is a kicker for ya: according to copyright laws - Karaoke and Midi versions of songs are illegal too unless they are properly licensed. Just removing the vocals from a song does not give you the right to post it or reproduce it. I can

RE: i want my music to sound official
Well... there is no easy way; not even with Magix. You can start with some good VST plug-ins and add reverb to your tracks. Run your vocals through a compressor and pan different instruments across the stereo spectrum to add depth. The best way

RE: There has to be a way... (Audio Recording)
Wow... this is a bit strange as it should do this out of the box!!! Music Maker does playback (monitor) existing tracks as your record. I'll assume playback is set correctly as you can play back your recordings. Once your record window is open,

This is unfortunate, You can use the feedback link at the top right of this page and send a message directly to Magix support for this site. They are responsible for removing your song and can help you further. Keep in mind that not all samples

RE: I'm using Magix Music Maker Deluxe 12, and when I try to record my instrument, and some vocals onto the track, they playback about 1 or 2 seconds late.
It's definitely a latency problem. The silence is a separate issue. What recording interface are you using? The silence usually only occurs with internal "home user" sound cards. These are not acceptable for recording. You'll have to change

Hi, If you have a two channel recording interface then you definitely are recording mono. By setting your software to mono (in the advanced settings when you hit record) you will be able to record evenly across both channels. Ideally only

    RE: every time
Hi, Sounds like a memory issue - you may need more... most likely Magix may not be freeing up what it uses. Unfortunately that is common with audio programs. They use lots of memory and CPU cycles for certain tasks and do not release them when

    RE: MusicMaker14 -- Missing features from MM12 ??

Hi, This is a common occurrence and it's actually a good thing. Studio recording has two layers: balanced/unbalanced and stereo/mono - and many entry level recording interfaces have two channels to record to... the left channel and the right

RE: How do i shorten the delay time between controller note on and note played on Music Maker synth?
Though Ralftaro gives some good advice - do not waste your time with ASIO settings. They only relate to audio recording and playback and have NOTHING to do with MIDI. Start with your MIDI controller and see if you have any latency/buffer settings
