I see that the latest 16.0.4.98 patch lists "Error fixes" in "editing Alpha channel material" as one of the changes. I have not applied the patch yet so not sure what has been fixed. Peter

I have tried some old tests with compressed files and none of them will reveal the Alpha channel in MEP. Uncompressed AVI 32bit is the only video format that works on my systems. A TGA image sequence works and might be a solution for you seeing it
