This tutorial demonstrates how to use the Mask Generator and Chromakey Alpha effects to create a custom transition from a video clip. Update 03/08/2018: the tutorial now includes how to save the transition and use it in another project   Brilliant! Drawing in Movie Edit Pro using a Single Point
This tutorial shows how to create animated lines and other objects using a single point in Magix Movie Edit Pro and Video Pro X. It was inspired by a tutorial in French by Serge Vandewall on the Magix.info forum, and available on YouTube. Steps: Create a text object with a point or period with no other text (use Title/Templates/Font and select the first one) Resize the point to 35 and place in

About new features of Video Pro X
"Import AVI file sequences from compositing programs like Jahshaka or After  Effects™ via the integrated alpha channel support. Insert .psd files with multiple layers without converting them directly into your project." This is from details of Video Pro X. Who made this? I mean, how i can do that?

RE: Creating a Fancy Title Intro using Magix Movie Edit Pro
@Vitaly Hi, There are 2 different ways of using masks in MEP. The first way, and what you are referring to is done by masking an effect on a single video or photo. See the tutorial indicated below, particularly from 8:30 onwards. You either create or load a mask using the dropdown arrow of an effect, Create effect mask or Load effects mask. This puts the effect onto the track below the video and

RE: Creating a Fancy Title Intro using Magix Movie Edit Pro
Hi and thanks for this tutorial. I'm trying to follow it but there is something I don't quite understand. I'm talking about a small title, at the bottom, that you start explaining from 4:20. I can't seem to figure out how to apply that mask with chromakey with alpha effect. As far as I understand, we can only apply a mask to an effect that has a particular icon (rectangle with a circle inside in

    RE: Multiple moving masks
AH ... HAaaa! Eureka !! I have found it. Although the stack I made in the comments above works fine, the stack you provided in your pdf file needs a bit of extra explanation. You mention chromakey but you don't mention what to do in that effect. The effect was a clear circle and a sand effect on the outside of the circle. (I use sand for distortion) So, to get the right effect I reversed the

    RE: Multiple moving masks
Thanks John for this tutorial. However, I am using MEP2014 plus and your instructions did not work in this version. When I stacked according to your instructions I got the reverse of what was expected: the white part was clear and the clear part was mozaic (I used sand). When I added the second .png in the stack as illustrated, it had no effect. So I tried something else: I reversed the order
