RE: Differences between MEP MX premium and MEP 2015
Gentlemen, At the beginning of the manual there is a section on "What's new." Below is the text from 2013 and 2014. I did not indicate the add-ons for Plus or Premium. Could someone who has 2015 please give us the similar text? George, with

RE: Pro X 6 : can the RGB Parade and Vectorscope be user-resized or are they always a fixed fraction of the available screen?
Hi, I was just looking for the tutorials that we noted and saw your messages. For some reason the alerts aren't working all of the time. Glad to see that you bought 2015. You should have bought the Premium version to get the plugins. They are

Conversion of Anaglyph 3D to Standard 2D
I uploaded an anaglyph 3D video into Magix Movie Edit Pro 2014 Plus. I want to convert it back into a standard 2D video. How do I do that? The video was originally recorded in 3D using a Sony 3D Handycam, model HDR-TD10.

RE: Movie Edit Pro masks
You didn't state which version of MEP you have or which flavour - regular, Plus or Premium. In 2014, Plus and Premium, there is an HDR Gamma slider with an associated HDR Blur. This allows you to bring up the darker parts without losing the

can I capture hi-res miniDV NTSC material in MovieEditPro 2014 Plus?
When I capture NTSC camera (Sony HDR-FX7) material on miniDV tape (1920x1080) into Magix 2014, I get only 720x480 properties in the project timeline. Using MovieEditPro 2014 on Windows 7 system. What to do?

RE: CR2 File ?
Hi An advantage of using RAW files is that you control the processing and it is possible to extract images of different exposure levels which are suitable for applying HDR to, although this is still not as good as using multiple images correctly

RE: Brightness of Picture
Hi Anirban You can adjust the Gamma controls to increase the brightness of the dark areas of the picture, however you can introduce noise into these areas of the image. This i due to there being very little detail information in them. True

Brightness of Picture
Dear friends, How can one balance the light of an image that has two lighting? I mean if I take the subject that is backlit, the whole picture looks awkward with some part lit and rest dark? Even if I play with the exposure compensation, nothing

Here is another method to create a mask using the same image in order to change just a colour. In this link, the method is given by Scenestealer.

RE: HDR (High Dynamic Range) Images
Hi Glad to have been able to show a few more possibilities but to be sure the 2014 HDR is a little better and a lot quicker! John C.B. - You are right - it would be great to have the measuring tools in MEP as well, especially for colour

RE: HDR (High Dynamic Range) Images
Terry, You are right, the next selected clip says HDR. The HDR tag is added whenever you are on the Brightness/Contrast effect, even if you do nothing. It goes away if you do nothing and select another effect screen and do something

RE: HDR (High Dynamic Range) Images
Is the following a minor bug? An object is adjusted with HDR Gamma and/or blur. If another object is now selected (with Brightness/Contrast still active), its label misleadingly gets the HDR tag, even though the settings remain at

RE: HDR (High Dynamic Range) Images
Peter, Thanks for the tips on HDR Blur. I hadn't been playing with it as the word "blur" threw me off. For the halo, I was actually trying to get it in order to more or less reproduce the halo that Anirban had in his initial photo. Normally I

RE: HDR (High Dynamic Range) Images
Hi All I moved the thread to MEP Discussion. John C.B. - That halo effect is what I was referring to in my previous post. It can be reduced by moving the HDR Blur slider down to about 20 but don't go too low because the effect goes haywire
