RE: MusicMaker14 -- Missing features from MM12 ??
Not really an answers for sure - but I've been looking at purchasing MM14 as an upgrade from MM11. I noticed there are two versions. MM14 and MM14 Producers Edition. It does not show the differences except $30.00 in price. Perhaps this is where

RE: Can I re-arrange tracks by moving it up or down, and can I insert a track within an existing arrangement in Music maker 2008?
Thanks for your response Justin. I can't see an obvious way to reply to your response hence I am using the "Answer" option. Bit more on what I am trying to achieve: Say for example, I want to move Track 10 in-between Tracks 3 and 4. I was hoping

Hi jayraju, Perhaps a bit more info. might help... what exactly are you trying to accomplish? You certainly can re-arrange tracks by moving up or down and even sideways. If you are trying to add a track from one arrangement to another; I've found

[Closed] VST Plugin problem with Music Maker - duplicates!
Ok, Here is my problem. I'm using Music Maker 11 and I've been adding VST plugins. Well I've also been using Cubase and using VST plugins so I decided to consolidate all my plugins to a single location and point the programs there. The problem is

RE: How can I maximize the length of a beat longer than 4 beats?
Hi, Not sure what you mean by beat... but in Music Maker, you can drag the end marker (usually set for four beats) to the right extending your recording area. I've had this happen a few times during recording. It's not a good system... it should

RE: File functions
Hi, It's the poor way audio files are handled. Other programs like Cubase and etc. do the same thing... the just do it better. Magix stores all recorded data in separate folders and only links them to your program... deleting them deletes the file

RE: Saving changes
Hmmm... though the Music Editor is absent of a save button (MAGIX PLEASE NOTE!!!) it should transfer the changes when you close. You may need to contact tech support on this one. In the meantime, use a different (free) editor like Audacity. Justin

RE: Live audio recording delay....
Hi, You've had some good answers... in addition to latency adjustments for your card/interface. You may want to update the drivers. Many manufactures (especially Creative) shipped their products with very poor ASIO drivers. An update will help

RE: Delete vocals in a song/ Zangpartij verwijderen uit een bestaand nummer
It can be done in many cases... Raltaro is right in that once a song is mixed down; isolating individual components is usually not possible. Vocal tracks are usually recorded in stereo right down the middle of the mix - this gives you a good chance

RE: How do I record what is playing through my speakers? Also, can I time this recording?
Hi, While the previous two answers are good ones... neither one works all the time or in all instances. A sure-fire way to record whatever comes through your speakers is to get a 1/8" x 1/8" TRS cable (looks like a headphone jack on each end) and

RE: How Do I Make A Song Acapella?

RE: How do I record vocals on PC
Hi, I recommend one of two interfaces depending on whether you will use USB or Firewire. I've had some latency issues with USB (even 2.0) so I strongly recommend Firewire. Both of these solutions are affordable and I've used both so I can recommend

RE: changing vocals on songs
Great answers so far! Let me add that you can, with Music Maker, make much of the vocals disappear either by copying the track and inverting the phase or with a vocal remover VST plug-in. Then you can re-record your new voice over. So there is
