Hi Assuming you mean MEP 14 and not 2014, then both 14 and 17 are not Windows 10 compatible. You can try re-installing MEP 17 using this procedure, however it is not guaranteed to work with MEP 17, in particular one of the potential issues

Hi . . . . I will still try uninstalling as it . . . . If you are referring to MEP MX then follow this procedure otherwise uninstalling / re-installing will not achieve anything. There is a gotcha - this still may not resolve the DVD drive

Hi Assuming you burned a standard DVD then the most common reason for this is the DVD player is not compatible with the type of disc or cannot read the disc due to a an issue eg using economy non branded discs. More information is needed:
