RE: Audio fade out.
Thank you John for taking the time to provide me with some information. But that does not work. I have zoomed all the way in and out and I am in timeline mode. When I activate the audio clip and it turns bleu there is only the double arrow to pull

RE: Movie Edit Pro Plus - how do I add 3rd party VST FX?
Hi John. I thought this was your thought process and it is diametrically opposed to my own. First, I'm not concerned about various levels within a music mix. It should be an expression not a mathematical exercise. If I have chosen to make one part

RE: Any outstanding bugs/things need to be fixed in MEP 2020?
@pmikep @browj2 @emmrecs @johnebaker@johnebaker Hi Mike. An alternative ASIO driver would only help with the lag between altering a mixer setting in MEP and the time delay between you hearing the alteration you made with a vst effect which on my

Free Analog Tape Impulse Files for Acoustic Mirror, etc...
I spent some time yesterday making impulse files of one of my reel-to-reel decks and I want to share them here. I think they turned out well and capture the character of it. The machine is a Tascam 22-2, a stereo 1/4" reel-to-reel that records in

RE: Acid Pro 10 CTRL+V inserts, doesn't paste.
I've used acid pro and acid music studio for years. Every iteration of this product has used CTRL+V (or even right clicking and selecting "Paste") to paste. Now when I Paste it instead INSERTS the event/clip etc and shifts everything else on that

RE: need help with 2 issues
Jeff and John, First, I wanted to thank you both for all your help with my muffled speech video. After what you guys said about the video rip itself being inferior,I decided to start from scratch. I did not make the video rip myself. It was done

RE: How can i make Movie edit pro plus work faster?
@Former user I am like you in that I feel the 960x540 preview is optimum, do not use many tracks, and prefer the preview to be over the timeline as opposed to having the timeline on a separate screen, plus I tend to mainly use VPX which has 2 x

RE: Lowering volume of MAIN audio track to allow another to predominate
@Richard-Curtis When I do narration, I usually end up with many audio clips, and then just do ducking one by one. I also may have to modify the volume of the narration object itself for plosives. An alternative is turning on automatic volume

RE: Lowering volume of MAIN audio track to allow another to predominate
@FF22 Please reread carefully what I wrote: For an object, turn on the volume curve (Ctrl+Shift+V or right-click on the audio object) for the object and then click on the green line to set points or keyframes. Or, you can turn on Drawing mouse mode

RE: Lowering volume of MAIN audio track to allow another to predominate
Hi Just a general tip on moving points on an effect curve - picture or audio - if there are keyframes relating to these points in the effect in the Key frame editor - to easily move a bunch of them along the timeline and keep their relative

RE: Lowering volume of MAIN audio track to allow another to predominate
@FF22 There are also other ways to adjust the volume. For a track, other than damping, there is track automation available through the mixer. Turn it on for a track, play back, adjust the volume slider while playing and points will be create on the

@Jesse-Thrall Welcome to the Magix forums. The latest version of Magix Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab, version 2, (SFACL2) supports up to eight audio tracks so should be ideal for your use. There is a free trial, available to download on that page.

RE: Phantom audio "track" or some audio remnant.
@FF22 That is indeed strange. Start with what John EB suggested. If that doesn't work, then do as Ray suggested, drag the volume slider for track 1 in the mixer to the bottom to turn it off. John CB Been there, done that. The Mixer has no impact

@Scenestealer Hi Peter. Taking your last point first. Both were in use when I got the lowest export times. I've no idea why but with one or the other not ticked the export times were slower. I am now getting even more confused while trying to setup
