RE: [Closed] Video Capture with Razer Stargazer
Hi, welcome to the Magix forums. I confess I had to look up exactly what the Razer Stargazer is! I gather it is, essentially, an HD webcam, particularly designed for gamers. Is that correct? I notice the system requirements (as shown on this page)

I have purchased a Firewire 4 to 6 wire cable and a USB 6 wire adaptor. The Magix software, recently bought, fails to 'see' the camera. I have tried switching into Play mode at various different points, no joy. Do I have to get a Firewire port

Thank you for your reply. Small background info: Several years ago, I used VP X6 quite well, including YT from within the proggy, but I've already forgotten more about it than I ever learnt. I recently needed to make a ~3 min video on YT and I

Whoops......how did I get into this thread or are we commenting about a comment I made in another thread?? Anyhow, I agree with Roger and John in that "the proof is in the pudding" especially as you are dealing with a total available MPEG2 bitrate

Here is that link - It is low res from the days of struggling to compress videos as small as you could. There was no high speed internet. B&HPhotoVideo has the FZ1000 on sale for under $500. They normally don't do such a nice discount unless it
