  @Aaron-Law Doesn't it work fine? ARA has the advantage that you can see the complete audio file in the plugin instead of transferring it first. VST can only access the current playback cursor position and not the whole audio file.

  I unistalled everything exceot the latest version I have of Music Studio Platinum (16) and Vegas Pro (20) Everything seems to be working fine now - it could have been an issue with 3rd party products/plugins All I can say is it worked for me :-)

  OK but I did have MSP 12, 15 and 16 installed along with 2022 suite as well as Pro 12 and 20 - uninstalled all and reinstalled MSP 16 and seems fine now - may of course also been an issue with 3rd party plugins ...
