RE: Turning a mono track into a stereo track
I hit the wall again. I split the object into two tracks, which deleted the original track. What had been one track is now two. The first of the two now comes out of the two monitors, which is good. It doesn't display anything visually, though,

RE: Turning a mono track into a stereo track
@Chuffey Hi Try this: Do you have this option if you right click the audio object? If so ensure the audio object is on a track of its own and you have the wave form displaying, then apply the effect, the audio object will split into 2 tracks,

RE: Video & audio recording (Version 20.0.1.65) Premium version
@Cal Hi Cal. I think the reason no-one has answered you yet is you are not asking a specific question or stating your actual needs. What do you mean by video or separate tracks? You are limited to two recording tracks if screen capturing. The input

RE: Many, many things wrong
You don't actually read what I write. The problem about the windows is not that I have to resize or relocate them, it is that the window I indicated is half off the screen, thus nobody can click on any place to actually grab that window, move it

RE: Many, many things wrong
AAProds, I don't want to eliminate all effects. Just one of the ones that is no longer to my liking (hence the "Ctrl z won't do"). Can I just uncheck the box for that effect in that screen I mentioned (since it is not named, I don't know what that

RE: Many, many things wrong
@DBoydNL Is the best way to eliminate an unwanted effect or effect setting to "disable" it in this screen (when Ctrl z won't do)? Clear all effects: right-click the object>Video Effects>Reset How do I accomplish the same zoomed in factor

RE: Fix a track that recorded on one channel
I even reinstalled it. The version is 29.03.19 I'm on a PC. I don't have the options you show. Not even when I click the +. I ended up converting it using the "convert stereo into two mono tracks. This gave me one mono track and one track with

RE: Adding text where I want it on the timeline
@browj2 Hi John. It certainly isn't normal to suffer lag between a MIDI command and the response from the audio. You can achieve latency of zero when set up properly or how do you record midi instruments real-time with any degree of accuracy when

RE: Long photo moving pan
Hi all, As Alwyn points out, for most zoom-pan shots, Camera/Zoom shot does an excellent job. For just a pan shot on a long pan photo as shown below, Camera/Zoom is much easier to use than Size/Position. In the first image below, in Camera/Zoom, the

RE: Long photo moving pan
@Alwyn @AAProds @Dave-Eric @browj2 @johnebaker Surely the best method is the one that the person feels most comfortable using. Does it matter? Hi Alwyn. @AAProds Size and Position is not the best tool for panning across an image or video. In fact,

RE: Long photo moving pan
@johnebaker Gday John, that's better, it works now. But so many steps, compared to Camera/Zoom Shot's 1. Unsurprisingly, the Size and Position numbers you typed in are exactly the same as those automatically entered by MEP when it sets up the

All, Have you tried my method at the top of this topic - it is the most basic method I can't agree, John. Your steps 2 to 6 I achieved with one click; the right direction arrow. There is no question in my mind; Size and Position is not the best tool

RE: Long photo moving pan
@AAProds Hi Alwyn. Try working backwards and start at the end of the clip and see if that improves things. Also sometimes Key markers are not always automatically placed on the timeline and you have to add them manually. Also are you zooming in

@johnebaker Gday John, I did and I got the same result as Dave, where all that happens is the image itself gets moved to the right (as one would expect with SP), hence my question about whether there is something missing in your procedure. I've

RE: Zoom Assistance
Having just watched Terry's tute, it is obvious to me that Size and Position, in this use, is exactly the same as Camera/Zoom. The critical point with using SP here is that you have to zoom in using the zoom slider, and there is no "resizing" or

RE: Long photo moving pan
I'm really struggling here. I cannot see how one can get Size and Position to pan across an object (unless you use Ray's method, which doesn't work well with long images). By definition, "Size and Position" means resizing and positioning an object,

RE: Long photo moving pan
... I did this, and what I got was that the starting section of the first 1920 of the image, moved from the beginning to the end. So the section moved correctly, but it was a still of the first part of the image, not panning the image. Same here.

RE: Long photo moving pan
@AAProds ...Don't use the section tool.... The beauty of Camera/Zoom Shot is you can section as well as pan. No, Camera/Zoom does not actually use Section. It just uses a rectangle with the same proportions (say 16:9) as the project, and resizing

RE: Zoom Assistance
@AAProds Hi, I agree that Camera/Zoom is a very good and simple way to do a pan zoom. My point is that one should learn what it actually does by reviewing what occurred under Size/Position. I rarely do zoom/pans. The big use of Size/Position is in

RE: Zoom Assistance
@browj2 Gday John, I'm not sure why people defer to Size/Position for this type of action. When I did that tute above, I didn't use any of the the "official" Camera/Zoom functions (eg Zoom to section, zoom from section); I did it as manually as I
