Automation clips and the ability to change the bpm mid song?

AqauNotAqua wrote on 10/5/2020, 8:40 PM

I think it would be cool to have automation clips like in FL studio where you can easily automate effects from a plugin or a built in effect you can put on tracks. It would look something like this (On track two)- https://www.loopmasters.com/ckeditor_assets/pictures/805/content_3.jpg

I also think it would be cool to change the bpm mid song and I honestly don't know why this doesn't exist in the program already, and if either of these get added I think it would be nice to be able to automate the bpm with an automation clip as well. These features would obviously be for the paid versions of Music Maker or be a feature you can purchase in the free version like they have it for infinite tracks and third party vst support.

Have you looked up Automation in the PDF manual available under Help.

Also see these tutorials:

Look up Tempo/Pitch resample

See my reply in this thread about object and track automation.

You showed the volume curve for a MIDI object as being a track. This would needlessly take up tracks. The volume envelope is with the MIDI object in the MIDI editor along with the possibility of having other curves, like sustain. However, you can still have a volume curve on the track or object, but you don't need to use up a track to show this - it shows on the same track/object.

Music Maker is not a sophisticated DAW. Other than modifying Tempo/Pitch as pointed out by John EB, if you need more sophistication, you'll find it in Samplitude Music Studio and Samplitude Pro X.

@johnebaker I should have been more specific. I think it would be cool to be able to automate effects from third party vsts, like instrument plugins, and effect plugins. Also I thought it would be cool to be able to automate effects from stock instrument plugins, and effect plugins.
