RE: Why can MEP15 import Sony Raw files but not Nikon RAW files?
Hi . . . . When you said you can still drag and drop into MEP15 Timeline does that mean you also have a Sony DSLR camera as well? . . . .  No, I have 2 Sony video cameras, my DSLR is a Canon and for most shots I do not shoot in RAW. The

RE: Why can MEP15 import Sony Raw files but not Nikon RAW files?
Hi Do you mean MEP 2015 - if so then please use its fullname. . . . . I can still drag and drop them into Magix MEP15 Timeline . . . .  This would suggest you have the Sony ARW file viewer / converter installed on your computer. MEP does

Why can MEP15 import Sony Raw files but not Nikon RAW files?
Hi I have a Sony DSLR camera and the RAW format is .ARW. Although the RAW files are not visible in the Import preference box I can still drag and drop them into Magix MEP15 Timeline from another screen. However when I try to do the same with

RE: 4K Export Freezing (was SO frustrating.....)
First, might I suggest choosing better descriptions for your issue? "So frustrating" doesn't help us (or others) to relate to your problem, especially if we solve this issue. I haven't done 4k vid, but when I have long encodes, I break them up

RE: Does Vegas 13 or 14 support reading Red Dragon R3D files natively?
Hi R3d are RAW files and Red have an application called Redcine-XPro that can process them to RGB and apply corrections and export / transcode them without losing the original RAW data. It does this by changing the data in the XML file (I

My monitors are both 1920x1080. Excellent resolution and the Color Munki helps. I need to run it again as I see a big difference between monitors. One or both is out. My desk is an L shape (actually U with the piano keyboard behind me). The

RE: Unusual quote for my high end PC
Hi Terry Just to chip in here, whereas Peter keeps, photos, audio HO and HDP files, project MVP, and all Windows (incl. page file) and program files  on the C:\ drive and raw data on a second HD, I keep things even more seperated. Windows and

RE: Unusual quote for my high end PC
Hi Terry The point I have been making in recent replies is that I can find no advantage to MEP (preview smoothness, render/export speed) from having raw footage on the SSD so I place all those (which are the space hogs) on the 4TB WD Black.

RE: Unusual quote for my high end PC
Terry, not Peter, but I offer my set-up and file storage "system" for your consideration. Running Win 10 on a pretty high-end machine, I have Windows and a few program files, basically those that "insist" on installing to C:\, on a 250GB SSD.

How can I avoid a jittery AVCHD playback from an MPEG-4 rendered to an AVCHD DVD?
My video camera yields 1920x1080, 60 fps MPEG-4 video files.  When I reformat them to AVCHD DVDs, the playback on Blu-Ray players (I tried three different brands: Sony, Insignia, and Toshiba) has about a 3-5 Hz halting or jitter.  I've tried using
