  Custom preset transfer?
  I am thinking about updating Sound Forge from version 9 to 18. Can I transfer custom FX presets from the older version to the new one, or do I need to remake them?

  SFP does not have a 24 drop frame setting in the 'time display'. TC metadata can be changed in existing BWF files, I think Sound Devices 'Wave Agent' can transcode a WAV to BWF.

  @Reyfox Times change. I'm under the impression that Gen Alpha doesn't even own or use a PC anymore. At some point anybody who wants certain software will own it and then the market is saturated and you cannot sell enough to keep development funded.

  @HHM You can automate Sound Forge with scripts, for example in C#. I use this to automatically cut and edit and transform hundreds or thousands of sound effect files. I think this is the standout feature of Sound Forge. @SP Sounds usefull, thanks
