RE: Choosing project frame rate setting?
@Scenestealer Hi Peter, That's a terrific tip, thanks a bunch! Never used 'Cast to Device' before. Over the last 30 mins or so I tried all the video file types I could find quickly. All of the following played OK:MP4, AVI, MKV, MOV, MPG, M2TS, TS,

RE: Choosing project frame rate setting?
Thanks Ray. We have only one TV, a Panasonic TX-40CX800 40" LCD in the lounge, and I stream my videos to it from my PC upstairs via my wi-fi router. They are MP4 exports from various versions of MEPP over the years, currently 2016 or 2017. Like you,

RE: Choosing project frame rate setting?
Hi Terry. A lot will depend on the TV. I'm in the UK and none of the TVs in my house are disturbed at the frame rate set but can get fussy about the type of file used. Our large lounge TV will not play mov. files or anything using HEVC. If you are

RE: MusicMaker 27.0.3.32 - Does Not Recognize mxcogg files
@browj2 I have checked the Wav file option so I get the *.wav files, not the *.ogg files. But I (still) have these soundpools after installing the last MM 27.0.3.32. Chillout - Garden of Joy                3) Chillout - Summer Rain 1)     Deep

MusicMaker 27.0.3.32 - Does Not Recognize mxcogg files
This has probably been going on for a while, but I just noticed it in this latest patch. MusicMaker no longer plays mxcogg files. A couple of years ago, Magix changed the format of Soundpools available for sale through the in-program Store,

RE: DVD vs USB playback for SD video
Hi Jak. You can only really use codecs your TV can read. We have a Sony TV in our lounge and a Samsung in the kitchen. Both read several different codecs but both seem to read MPEG-4. Our Samsung for instance doesn't seem to support AVI files

    RE: Soundpool 1-8
Hi again, Depends on what exactly you're after. If you're looking for individual loop names, I'm afraid there's no such list that I have access to. I did manage to grab a little table of contents off an internal document, which details the soundpool

Forum is intended to serve magix users with magix software. Off Topic area is the de-facto Lounge. It should be a free exchange area, not unrestricted speech area. Magix gripes or commentary should be directed elsewhere.

Before you go through the hassle of re-installing, repairing, upgrading or whatever, I’d suggest we spend a little more time discussing the issue. Focusing on a single, small project that you have created and which exhibits the unacceptable

RE: [Closed] Would this be considered THE LOUNGE ?
Hi everybody, In my mind Off topic should be something like a lounge, obviously with most of the rules being applied. Regardless of that, we will not create a "lounge" / another forum as a rule-free area. What I can see us doing in the future, that

Why do the admins here assume that the lounge should be "without rules"? The entire ap had a set of rules to abide by, the lounge was just a little more relaxed. We had are separated music/tech, suggestions/complaints, newbies and even plugs forum,

The rules don't allow for much expression of personality, emotion, or color and sarchasm; important elements for me to post and interact at "the lounge" level. I don't think such a place exists here.

I agree Mathius could you give us a lounge like the acidplanet community to chill and pass on our experiences and stories and anything else that comes up, we miss that facility.

Sorry I didn't have time to try test the collage on my desktop with MEP2018 Plus installed. I'll try in a week or so when I get home. I really want to see if there is a difference in speed between machines and VPX and MEP2018. Terry, there are no
