RE: VPX15, no hardware encoding during BD burning
@AAProds Hi Al. I have only tried to make ISO files and not had any such warnings about drivers. MEP /VPX has either applied HWA or not in the case of trying to use MP4. I have played around with various export settings. As you know this is not my

RE: MMS 2025 Suite - BCC Boris FX Chroma Key Studio
@Clinton-Peck 👍In those videos there may be bits that can't be done in MMS, like compositing. In MMS you have to as I did section an area & use it as an overlay or create a B/W mask & use it with a duplicate of the clip in a similar way,

RE: Progressive to Interlaced Question
@jak.willis Hi. You can't de-interlace an already converted file from progressive. You could add it again but there would be little benefit to doing that. What you may be experiencing is a difference in screen refresh rates if you have an older TV

RE: Rendered Video is flickering/pulsing
I have just run a bunch of tests on a similar video (attached). None of the solutions made any difference to the blockiness apart from the bitrate. More bits=better image. If you are constrained by file size (eg Whatsapp) then HEVC at hte same

RE: Rendered Video is flickering/pulsing
@Darynn-Ho I can't see pulsing but i can see blockiness of the colour in the sky, this is the bitrate that's too low, It's not easy if your not comparing the same file but look at the Overall bit rate, Orig 73mb/s to the exported one 24mb/s, that's

@me_again @johnebaker @browj2 @AAProds @fishycomics @JCI-21 @Paul-Doyle Hi Andy. I too have been experimenting with AV1 all be it at the software level due to my computer not have suitable hardware. I still can't generate any file that shows a

RE: Masking a complicated image
@Former user With the bedpost image - no the camera isn't static as it was handheld. Actually it's not a shot I'd remove the bedpost from. I just used it as an example. If I did want to remove it then due to camera movement the mask(s) would need

RE: Proxy Import Rotation Bug? MMS 2023
@emmrecs @me_again Thanks Gentlemen, I had forgotten about turning off Proxys with the lightning bolt; that does the same here, Andy. Weirdly, it appears that my timeline object is now flipped 180°. I have the sky at the bottom at the end of the

RE: Rendered Video is flickering/pulsing
Greetings @Darynn-Ho What I would like to look at is the same clip BUT the original if possible. I'll explain why. It (probably) is something to do with the variable bitrate and the fact that the original is identified as 60 fps - as discussed

RE: [Closed] File size
@AAProds Hi Al. As far as I understand it HEVC compresses smaller blocks of pixels together than MP4 so the detail is finer which to my mind should result in a larger file than a smaller one but that obviously isn't the case so I put it under the

RE: Feature request: Remove sensor dust
The easiest way is to clean your lens before shooting and make sure your sensor is also clean. I had a "smudge" on my lens that I was not aware of until looking at a blue sky. Then it became apparent. I now double check to make sure the lens is

RE: playing video
Yes I like the depth of change Slog3 allow. Colour via colour correction on Magix and along the way saved as video effects. Now when I try and load the video effect the cover folder shows but there is nothing in it. Mainly external sky and interior.

RE: Feature request: Remove sensor dust
@MovieEditorr @emmrecs @Reyfox This works with still images. I don't see why it shouldn't work with movie clips. Take a still image shot which is out of focus against a plain background such as a blue sky or white sheet of paper but make sure the

RE: "Wrong" 4:3 images should have been 16:9 to fil TV screen
THANKS. I've been playing and I think most of my questions below have been answered but will need more time to play. I think I even like how some of the PORTRAIT images have cropped to 16:9 Horizontal. Does not seem to affect mp4 video segments. I

RE: "Wrong" 4:3 images should have been 16:9 to fil TV screen
@FF22 Is there a way to select an aspect ration of 16:9 or do I have to eyeball it? In the Section effect box, you can choose the desired crop box ratio: This will teach me to NOT going 4:3 originally. I also have to remember that shooting video in

RE: Settings for exporting MP4
@marcusdeman Hi As @CubeAce has commented reducing the bitrate does not create motion blur. However halving the bitrate does create more 'artefacts' as it has less available data per second to encode the video. Typically this would be seen as a loss

@jak.willis Hi Jak. Personally that would not be a route I would follow as sharpening a file with little information to begin with starts to also introduce random noise into footage. You just cannot add what is not there without something like an AI

RE: Cannot export at all. Tried updating; keeps asking me to pay.
@Joshua-Burner Hi Joshua. The crashes may be being caused by the ram. Ideally ram should be used in matched pares. If one pair has a different rating than the other set then the memory will run but at the specifications of the slowest ram module.

RE: Portrait clip on top of portrait clip, Size/Position/Rotation is weird
@Former user I think half of the illusion is not expecting something to be a special effect. As long as it isn't an impossible thing like an alien spacecraft in the sky or out of place as an object within a scene it should go unnoticed. The hard bit
