RE: Lines in digitized VHS
@MovieEditorr I doubt that it is the digitiser. You'll notice the yellow banding in the sky; that will be caused either by poor tape quality or the VCR, so I think the lines are probably caused by the same issue. You could try cleaning the VCR

RE: Glow/Luminance on white shirts (VHS-MP4)
Thanks Ray, this makes sense. This MP4 source was sprung on me, and learning MovieStudio as I go. I'm not even sure I could do anything with the "original" VHS (my last VHS player went off to the great recycler in the sky about a year ago). I'll try

RE: How to fix or smooth de-interlaced content?
@jak.willis @me_again The BBC does not own the UK terrestrial transmitters and has to bid for channel allocation against competitors. Bandwidth and power are limited as the same frequencies are used by France and countries further afield. The UK TV

@CubeAce Hi Ray . . . time lapse, hyper lapse, and motion lapse and the lower the light, the harder it gets . . . With conventional cameras I agree, dedicated 'night sky shooters' and astronomers use ultra low noise sensor cameras designed for night

RE: Rendered Video is flickering/pulsing
@Darynn-Ho Are you talking about the blotching sky? If so, try an HEVC export at the same high bitrates. I've had bad blotchiness on exported S21 videos on sky and water using H264 ("MPEG-4" in Magix parlance).

RE: Movie Setting: Play movie in loop mode?
@Can-Dive Hi. No, the only difference is I have the 'Use dithering for output' ticked to reduce banding in large areas of solid but slightly graduating colour such as you would find in a large blue sky. It may be a Windows setting though such as

@jak.willis HI I have managed to do a real world test using video clips with virtually the same properties as your clip, the only item I could not get low enough was the bitrate, I could not get below 1600 kb/s, yours are approx 2/3 rd of this. I
