  Sound Forge Pro 18 REFUSES TO INSTAL!

  @matt_locker-01. Are you sure it's the same setup? I mean, Windows 10 and 11 install updates regularly, which can lead to problems with very old software. Maybe try running Sound Forge 10 via Windows 7 compatibility mode.

  Do you mean the default sample rate and bit depth when creating a new file? (File> New) If you set the desired parameters for a 'New' file, subsequent new files 'should' be the same. If they are not, the default new file attributes can be reset
