RE: Midi editing in samplitude proX
Hi john, Yes ! It explains right to me how the 2 midi quantization works. The fact is that I have been using a lot Sam proX1 (since it's came out ) and samplitude old versions since a very long time... Perhaps prox3 midi behavior changes from the

@JeanMarie-onni Hi, Can you change the grid to bars/beats; it looks like a time grid. Then post screen shots of the main screen, including the top buttons and the piano roll. John CB

RE: Humble Bundle $40 In-App Credit Voucher -Isn't one
@BMaps13 Yes, it's a trick. You should not pay 1$ for a 40$ voucher. You should pay the full price for whatever you purchase. I'm sure Magix would prefer that. I'm being sarcastic, in case it didn't register. If you don't like a near freebie, then

    RE: Choppy audio
@Sandy-Nared Hi . . . . All I had to do is when you go into tempo and pitch you hit setup and then you change the beat mark stretching to smoothed not beat mark stretching (smoothed ) and when I did it came out crystal clear . . . . That is good

Thanks, I'll give it a try and see what happens. Doesn't sound promising..... It's one thing I would really make life easier cutting to the beat.

@Reyfox BPM Wizard tutorial? Open the manual and search for BPM. The chapter is called Musical Cut Adjustment. Read the instructions and then try playing around with it. See if you can get a good BPM and then complete it with putting markers on the

    1) You are not missing out on Magix Soundpools except very old ones (before 2004) because you can buy everything on Producer Planet. But even if you get very old Soundpools (the ones before 2004) from sites like ebay they will work, because

    MP3 degrades on manipulation
I'm using Samplitude ProX 4 Suite. I've never had a wav file ripped from a CD corrupt when the ends are trimmed or when the tempo is changed. A fair number of mp3s corrupt in different ways when I start to manipulate them. When I trim the length, I

RE: Gripes, Annoyances - Old VST isn't supported without premium features.
@SP.Hi . . . . IMHO Magix Low Lantency is just a rebranded ASIO4All . . . . If that was the case then other programs would be able to access the sound card as the same time Music Maker is running. ASIO was a driver model specified by Steinberg to

RE: [Closed] How do I use score editor in Samplitude Music Studio?
MIDI format has been in use from the '80's. Sequencers used MIDi before they started using audio. There are pages explaining MIDI all over the Web. The fact that there is a MIDI edition different from audio edition in any DAW tells clearly that those

@johnebaker Hi John. That's interesting. If I'm doing cross fades they tend to be between 3 to 5 frames long but specialist fades are longer than 12 frames. Sometimes because of where frames land I do find it better to do longer cross fades. I'm not
