RE: Video Pro X16 - New Features and Bug Repairs
@Former user Hi, Could you be a bit more patronising! Sorry, that was not at all my intention at all. I read what you wrote, then I looked at what I wrote, and realized that I had not been clear at all, even to me, as to what I intended to focus on

    RE: General discussion on add-ons
Most power users, at least us, have multiple programs including video editors, so we can go to the one we need for whatever effect or template we want. Yes. Use the right tool for the job. I've always said that. One thing that I have tried to do is

RE: [Closed] Feedback on Movie Studio 2023
@pmikep Hi Mike. I'm not aware of VPX having had more bugs than MEP / VPX. I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will correct me. The offer price is more for VPX. Nearer $60 than $35, but as a percentage against buying it normally is a much better offer.

@Reyfox Do you lose your license from a previous version? If I upgrade rather than buy outright then yes. At least I lost my licence for VPX 11 but manged to keep the licence for my copy of VPX 12 which is just as well.I am not having a great time

RE: How to export a movie in portrait format (for upload to Twitter)
@AAProdsi think it could be a bug with my drone because i had H.264 selected but VPX14 is good so far, one big issue that i can't understand is when using the noise removal or any heavy duty effects on the videos it just can't do it, it slows down

@Reyfox Hi, ...does NBFX transitions work in VPX? No. This is shown on the NB site and has always been indicated on the Magix site for whichever products had TotalFX bundled with them. I use Pixelan plugins, including SpiceMaster Pro3

@SSB Hi. I personally don't think that anything you are proposing to do is likely to solve your problem. The thump you are hearing is happening at the recording preamp stage and most possibly from the connections from one device to another. Thumps

@Former user Hi Gid. It is the act of dealing with the compression that makes the process more processor intensive that definitely makes the act of dealing with HEVC more processor intensive and difficult to deal with on any older system. I do make

@roger-baker Hi Roger. All I would suggest is don't get any components older than three years from date of manufacture. Even the older power supplies don't work on newer boards any more. I would also suggest an Intel CPU with an inboard GPU along

@james22taylor Hi James. IMHO. I personally don't think you can. You can make an almost identical copy but as you have found it costs in the form of having to produce a larger file. MP4 and similar wrappers use what is known as 'lossy' encoding.

@CubeAce so you go out for a bit and do other things that you should be doing around the home. I worry when I start editing, not being aware of the time. Especially when I am in the "zone". I've had hardware failures myself in the 30+ years of
