RE: New Video Editing PC Recommendations
@Scenestealer Hi Peter. If you delve into the depths of the nvidia site and look at specific card types you will find that all Quadro and the newer RTX 3000 series cards are more designed to work with 4K and 8K video creation content as part of the

@Tim-Turner Hi Can you confirm if the Dell G3 15 has a Nvidia graphics installed. @CubeAce . . . . I think your laptop is this one minus the nvidia graphics card . . . . AFAICS all the G3 15 series either have a GTX 1050 Ti, GTX 1660 Ti or RTX 2060

@pcs800 Hi. I'm not sure what I'd recommend to someone trying to buy a desktop pc at present but if you could hold off buying for a few months until the supply of newer RTX 3000 series nvidia cards are more available I think you will get better

RE: Video decompression
Because compression is about losing data, ideally without losing quality! In a series of images recorded at 25fps there is often little change in the picture contents from one frame to the next, so the compression is removing the blocks of pixels

I'll add that I'm using a 5-series integrated Intel GPU with a Core i3 processor, with 8GB of RAM, without experiencing rendering problems of any sort.

RE: MIDI driven autotune vst not working
@Abx77 Welcome to the Magix forums. "Autotune" (from any manufacturer) is designed to work on audio signals. MIDI data contains NO audio, only a series of fairly complex control signals, so can you explain a little more about exactly what you are

RE: New Problems. No Idea why.
@Former user Hi Gid. That app only seems to work with the EVO series. I may be wrong, I'm new to all this. Looking at my event logs there does seem a problem with the D: drive not interacting with the Intel driver update facility.

Actually, no. It is not letting me use it on any SoundPool under $40, isn't working on any instrument I try it on (all of them are $29.99, aside from the toy series), and can't be used on the features. Legit, it only registers on sound pools above
