RE: MEP Premium selling for $60 USD on Amazon
@johnebaker Hi John. I understand as there are no colour photo-sites, just the filters which is why when shooting and getting a custom white balance in a stills camera you don't have to take a reading from a grey area if you are in a hurry. (As I

RE: Equalization for old 78 RPM records
@Raymond-Compton Hi, I have Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab 1, not the current version 2. I think that you are referring to the Sound Cloner/FFT Filter in which there is a preset for "Record player equalization (RIAA)" I don't see anything for pre

RE: MEP Premium selling for $60 USD on Amazon
@johnebaker Hi John. That is why I give the VPX version a different name John. I know what is done in what is effectively a higher end version of the same program can't be replicated if transferred back. Actually it's worse than that if you try,

@pmikep It's also less that Plus on Magix.com, at 69.99 USD new, 59.99$ for the Upgrade. However, on the Magix.com site, the following are included with the new version: proDAD ReSpeedr ($109 value) HitFilm Cinema Style Pack ($50 value), not so on

RE: Movie Edit Pro 2021 is out - New features
@pmikep Greetings, Vidcoder uses the Handbrake engine but it has, in my opinion, a better interface - I think that's the word I want, basically I find it easier to use / setup. It's been a year or two now since I last used Handbrake as Handbrake if

RE: LUTs errors
@me_again Hi Andy. The effects can be very subtle and what you can see may depend on how accurate and wide a colour gamut reproduction your monitor has (or whether you have colour calibrated your screen or not) and how colour blind you are. The

@emmerich01 Cleaning Lab is designed to clean up files and recordings (it also has some crackling removal filters for vinyls). It can also batch process multiple files so you only have to set it up once and it should work through lots of files

Web Designer will not preview nor publish my site
I purchased Web Designer Premium on 11/25/2020. I updated to the latest version. After designing my website and entering my ftp settings, I tried to preview and publish but the software would not allow me to either. Each I attempt to preview or

RE: Cableguys plugins crash Acid pro Next when loaded onto a track/master
Thank you for your reply Aman. What plugins do you use on AP10? I got cableguys, waves, fabfilter mainly. I rarely use any Magix plugins as they are still very clunky. Acid pro doesn't even come with a basic filter plugin so I use a lot of 3rd party.

RE: Compatibility Problem or something else?
Hi John. I think they are using Sony sensor for the new Pocket possibly of their own design similar to how Sony produce chips for Nikon cameras. With a little delving it could be the Sony IMX686 sensor or similar I could be wrong about that though.

RE: Compatibility Problem or something else?
@CubeAce Hi Ray Thanks for the link, will have a look. Interesting to note that users are still saying you need a red filter on for underwater use - I do not have to do this with my Sony. Image quality is very good, sensor size is quite large at ~

@Scenestealer @browj2 @emmrecs @johnebaker @lauriemessage Hi Peter. The footage was shot in the Osmo Pockets' Standard Mode as opposed to it's other mode which is called D Cine-like, which is not the same as DJIs' Log C, possibly because it uses a

@CubeAce @browj2 @johnebaker Hi Ray Your screen shots of the Eiffel Tower are a very good example of why not to use too much HDR Gamma in VPX ie much more than 20% starts to show dark and light bands, which i think is created by the blurred mask

Phew! Then you have got quite a task ahead of you to get some reasonable picture quality when starting from that point, and I would say that Neat Video plugin would be essential. I do not have it but those de-noising programs often have a sharpening

RE: How can I convert movie made in 2006 with BUP, VOB, IFO and MVD files?
@lauriemessage @emmrecs @johnebaker I just found what appears to be the original source of the 8mm files. They are on a VHS cassette. We must have copied them onto a computer in 2006 and that's how the MVD movie was created. Phew! Then you have got
